The villa is elevated over the 'Golden Triangle' of the Algarve with truly stunning views on all levels of the coastline stretching from Faro to the Sagres Peninsula. Situated in a most tranquil location in the hills just outside Loulé and set in 2 acres of landscaped terraced walled gardens. The size of the villa readily accommodates large parties. It has a fabulous covered terrace area which offers shaded alfresco dining. In addition, it has two separate kitchen/living room areas. There's a private gated entrance, the garden is totally enclosed by stone walling and designed to offer complete privacy. There are plenty of terraced areas for relaxing around the heated saltwater pool. The pool area is secured from the house with safety fencing and locking gates, ideal for children. The Moorish town of Loulé is only 5 minutes drive away and offers a variety of traditional Portuguese shops and many wonderful and inexpensive restaurants. Located just 25 minutes from Faro Airport.

I have lived in the Algarve with my husband and 3 children for 11 years now, and I certainly can't think of a better place to live and raise children. The Algarve offers an outdoor lifestyle, friendly, safe, sunshine, sandy beaches, fantastic fresh food, culture, festivals, nightlife, tranquility, adventure, the list goes on.... I would love for you to also experience some of what the Algarve has on offer by choosing to holiday here.

We bought our villa because of .... location,location,location!! We simply couldn't find a better location with stunning sea views, tranquility, privacy and yet centrally located so you can get to places quickly on good roads, and near the wonderful tradition market town of Loule. We have loads of outside space too which we have worked hard into making beautiful gardens.

We are always busy keeping the villa in tip top condition, making sure everything is perfect for our guests. So the only thing you need to think about when staying at our villa is where to sit and relax and enjoy the Algarve sunshine and the stunning views!

Perfect Week

Truly lovely villa. Didn't want for anything. The views were spectacular and it was near enough to the local town and fabulous beaches, but far enough away from everything and everyone to feel like we were getting away from it all. Perfect for a family of 10 - 4 adults and 6 children aged 10 - 16. The pool, football pitch and table tennis table kept everyone who wanted to be occupied and happy. We love to self cater so it was perfect for us, If you enjoy eating out with a glass of wine it would be too far to walk home however. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return next year

Fabulous holiday villa

We stayed here with several family and friends for two weeks and it was perfect. The villa was clean,well equipped and Sarah and Kevin couldn't have been more helpful. The pool was glorious and what an amazing view ! If you want to be away from the busy part of the Algarve this is perfect. You definitely need to hire a car. The local supermarkets are good and so is the marketplace in Loule. We spent most of the time around the pool, playing golf and visited some excellent restaurants. The barbecue got used a lot as well ! We loved it so much we have booked to go back next year. Thank you Kevin and Sarah

Fantastic Villa

We spent a week at the villa in August, it was our first visit to Portugal and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The description of the villa was very accurate, the photos showed us what to expect and when we arrived we were not disappointed, all the facilities were exactly as described, the villa is ideally situated to explore the Algarve, it is only a 25 minute car ride from Faro airport and the views are spectacular.

The property was spotlessly clean, it had been freshly painted, there were ten of us in our party and there were plenty of sun loungers, chairs, glasses, plates, dishes etc.

Kevin and Sarah provided us with any information we requested before and after we made our booking, all emails were answered promptly and their advice re car hire and restaurants was very helpful.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone and very much hope to return ourselves in the near future.

Whilst we were staying at the villa we went to a football match at the nearby stadium to watch Portugal v Holland and had very nice meals in Vilamoura and in Loule. Loule is a pretty town with a lot of character, nice restaurants and cafes, lovely shops and a castle.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week in stunning surroundings.

Perfect family holiday

This house was perfect for our families to enjoy a week together - 7 adults and 5 children ranging from 7 - 13 years old. The view from the house was beautiful. A big swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. Table tennis, boules, hard standing court for a footy kick around which we understand will have tennis court markings in future. The house was very well equipped and furnished. If people needed some time alone there is plenty of space to be able to this.

You will need a car to get about. Local supermarket only 10 mins drive and very well stocked.

Loule is a lovely town and well worth a visit. Villamoura and Los Lobos all within easy distance.

Book this house you will not be disappointed!

Special interest holidays:

Within a few minutes walk and located to the North of the Villa is a national park area with a beautiful spring fed river flowing through it. The villa is an ideal place to stay for those who enjoy walking or cycling holidays during the cooler off-peak months, due to the numerous tracks crossing this park, and quiet country lanes. There is abundance of wildlife to observe - in the winter months it is not unusual to see eagles and birds of prey circling overhead. Cycle hire can be arranged for you, if interested.

In addition, quad bike hire is available locally and once again the surrounding terrain is ideal.

Various local operators offer 'Safari' trips into the vast interior, giving an insight to the interior parts of the Algarve not normally seen by your average tourist!

Coast/Beach:

This part of the Algarve offers some of the finest beaches in Europe and they can be reached in 20 minutes by car. As you will notice when you fly-in, the beaches in the Algarve stretch for miles! Nearest beaches: Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura. The National Park of Ria Formosa is one of Europe's largest lagoons and is only 20 minutes drive. The Villa is located centrally in the Algarve and therefore all beaches east or west are easily accessible via the motorway located 6 km away.

Travel:

The Algarve is serviced by Faro Airport which is only 25 minutes drive away. Car hire is essential. The local inland villages and national parks are well worth exploring, as well as the spectacular beaches. We can provide car hire contacts.

The villa is located about 25mins drive from Faro Airport.

It´s central location in the Algarve, with easy access to the motorway makes it perfect for traveling east or west. The nearest beach is about 20 min away, but even the beaches on the west coast can be reached in little over an hour. Golf courses can be reached in 15 min from the villa. There are many Water parks in the Algarve and Aquashow is the nearest at just 15 min drive. The nearest town is Loulé which is about 5 min drive.

The nearby town of Loulé has much to offer, and if you want to experience traditional Portugal rather than the coastal tourist resorts then this villa is ideally located for you. The historical town of Loulé has many wonderful small traditional shops where you can buy local pottery, leather and copper handicrafts. Not to be missed is the fantastic fish/meat market, open 6 days/week and the huge gypsy market every Saturday attracting people for miles around. It also offers all the modern conveniences of supermarkets and banks etc. In addition, it caters for all your culinary needs with plenty of cafés and traditional restaurants that offer great value for money and excellent food. Loulé is a pleasant town for families to stroll around on a warm summer evening while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and a drink in one of the many street cafés. AquaShow, one of the largest waterslide parks in the Algarve is just 15 minutes away, and ZooMarine is about 30 minutes. Vilamoura Marina is 20mins drive with its stunning marina to stroll around suitable for both families and youngsters, with ample cafes, restaurants, bars, and nightlife.

Notes on accommodation: The Villa has Wi-Fi and is equipped with both AC & MVHR units. In essence, the villa was designed with the primary aim of ensuring that the view was paramount! The villa has been constructed on two levels. Located on the upper ground floor is the main entrance, primary kitchen, dining and living rooms providing spectacular views of the coastline. In addition, bedrooms 4 to 6 and the family bathroom/ensuite and cloakroom are also located on this level. On the lower ground floor, there is an additional living room with 2 sofas and TV with patio doors leading out to the garden pool area. In addition, there is an open plan kitchen/dining area. Bedrooms 1 and 2 which both have newly refurbished en-suite bathrooms, lead off this area. Bedroom 3, cloakroom/utility room are also located on this level and lead out to the pool terrace area. Once again, the spectacular views are also available from this level. Ideal for large families or two groups. Stair gates available. Outside: The villa is set in a 2 acre plot with landscaped gardens. The entrance has electronic gates and video entry system for security and natural stone walls fully enclose the property. There is a fenced sports area measuring 17 x 34m with soccer and basketball nets. In addition, there is a specific 'Boules' area with seating designed amongst the Carob trees for shade. The private 10 x 5m heated saltwater pool has a large patio area with spectacular views of the coastline. The pool area is enclosed by safety fencing. There are ample recliners and patio tables and chairs. There is a large BBQ area with a tiled dining table and seating area adjacent to the pool. The landscaped garden is mainly terraced with grass lawns / planting areas and the lower garden is planted with an abundance of fruit trees of all varieties. There is a small pond with frogs and fish. The property is located in a countryside setting offering total privacy and seclusion. The villa is accessed from a quiet country road. Utility Room: Separate utility room with washing machine, iron/ironing board and utility sink. Outside there is a rotary line for drying clothes/towels. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and bath towels included but please bring your own beach towels. All beds have white cotton linen with good quality pillows and mattresses for a comfortable night sleep. Villa will be cleaned twice a week, and linen changed once a week. Other: As the villa provides two separate living and kitchen areas, this readily accommodates two families sharing with the offer of separate private space. Alternatively, the kids can have the Lower area and the adults can utilize the Upper area.
