Apartment on Sitio del Golf complex, Mijas Costa, near Fuengirola, Costa del Sol - Located within Mijas Golf Complex. Peaceful not far from beaches

Stunning, spacious apartment on Sitio del Golf, Mijas on the Costa del Sol. Ideal for families, couples and golfers. It offers loads of space Our apartment stands in spacious grounds and the complex is never crowded. The pools and gardens are well maintained and a lifeguard is on duty between May and September. There is sufficient off road parking.

The apartment enjoys the use of four swimming pools and extensive tropical gardens. which run parallel to the Los Lagos & Los Olivos 18 hole golf courses and clubhouse facilities. Both the Hotel Tamisa and Hotel Byblos are in close proximity and they offer excellent dining facilities, entertainment and beauty treatments to non residents.

Wonderful location with stunning views of the Mijas Mountains; there are bars, restaurants and hotels in the immediate area The bustling resort of Fuengirola with lively beaches, attractions and city centre shopping is a 10 minute the attractive, more intimate La Cala beach resort is just a 5 minute drive away.

Just across the road is the El Esparragal parque area and natural park. Seating area with bbqs and tables for public use. Ideal for country walks, bird watching, riding or cycling. There is also a bar/restaurant.

About Angela

Originally from Norfolk, we (Paul and Angie) travelled throughout Spain looking for that ideal holiday home. We found a superb apartment on Mijas golf course on the Costa del Sol. Sitio del golf is perfectly located for golfing enthusiasts. For the past 6 years we have offered our apartment to helped guests to get the best holiday experience.

Why Angela chose Mijas

The Sitio del golf complex is one of the largest complexes in the Mijas costa and is part of the well known Mijas golf facility. Never crowded, the huge swimming pools and beautiful gardens area offer plenty of space and are a great attraction plus there is the breathtaking scenery of Mijas mountains in the background. Sitio is in a quiet location, although not far from Fuengirolas buzzing town with shops bars restaurants and beaches. Its a great location for golfers, families or couples. It is also only a short drive away from the La Cala village with its quaint shops restaurants and lovely family beach.

What makes this apartment unique

Close to the complex are a few shops, restaurants, bars etc. A five minute drive will take you to bigger supermarkets. The Hotel Tamisa located just next door offers entertainment, gym, classes, happy hour plus much more. ,Across the road there is also a large park area with a bar and BBQs for public use where the locals often meet up to tie up their horses for a rest and a cool beer. If you are lucky you may even witness one of the many fiestas that take place there. There are some great country walks or places to cycle, however if you wish for a more chilled out holiday then there is plenty of space around the pool area to soak up the sun, read a good book or have a swim

We loved the apartment,and the complex, and had a really good two weeks there - thank you...also, another thank you to Paul, for collecting us from the airport andgiving us a guided tour to the apartment, then kindly taking us back to the airport on Tuesday. When we arrived this saved us a lot of the normal hassle of collecting the car, the apartment keys and then finding the place( Elaine will confirm that's not my strong point) - so was a good startfor our holiday. Then doing the return trip as well made that a more relaxed experience - so a very big thank you for that. I hope everything was in order - we certainly have no complaints, all was excellent. best regards, Nei.

Notes on accommodation: A complimentary welcome pack of food and drink items will be provided on arrival plus welcome and information book to help you get the most out of your holiday. I also have persons on site available during your stay for any help or advice you may need. Please remember to obtain adequate travel and medical insurance for you and your family members. Outside: Off the lounge the apartment has a large patio area overlooking the pools and gardens. There is a dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as a seating area for you to sit relax and enjoy a meal al fresco. The terrace is also a peaceful place to sunbathe, read a book or enjoy a glass of rioja. BBQ, cool box and umbrella are available for you to use There are 2 larger pools and a small pool for children. All are protected and in the summer months these pools are manned by lifeguards. In the winter months, when lifeguards are not on duty the pools boundaries are clearly marked. You are responsible for you and your family members safety. There is plenty of off road parking in the vicinity.. Utility Room: Washing machine, storage cubhoard, bins, brushes and boiler. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is fully cleaned and beds made up for you. We provide kitchen linen, hand and bath towels.. For an extra charge a change of laundry or a daily clean can be arranged. Cot and highchair also available. Other: All rooms are bright, well furnished and have recently been decorated. Master bedroom has patio doors to large terrace. Lounge patio doors lead onto a spacious terraces overlooking the pools and garden areas.

Great location, very spacious and well looked after.

We had a lovely time and the apartment was really nice, it was just far enough away from the busy fuengirola front but close enough for ease. Surprised how spacious the apartment was and it felt like a home from home.

Perfectly placed apartment with lovely grounds and pools

Absolutely perfect holiday apartment. The grounds were safe and secure for our kids to mingle with the neighbours. The pools are attended and clean. The apartment had everything you'd expect from a home away from home. It was comfy, clean and the location was perfect for us. Inland from the beach but with local restaurants and a bar in the park and shop within walking distance.

We'd definitely book here again.

Fantastic , spacious and the best

We were a family of 6 myself, wife, 3 adult boys and the granddaughter. The villa is the most spacious we have stayed in with no cramped feeling that other 3 bedroom villa's give it is beautifully kept and maintained. The grounds are enclosed and along with the 3 pools are a safe environment for children. ( the new additional pools will be open shortly. The location is easy to get to from the airport and there is plenty of road access to all the local area's. As the golfer in the group the local courses Mijas/ Santana/ Calanova / Miraflores and La Cala are all within easy reach. If we could give this 10 stars we all would and we will be looking to return again in the future.

A lovely apartment overlooking an oasis

This was not our first choice of apartment but only just made it onto our shortlist and I'm so glad it did. The photos really don't do it justice and we were really surprised when we explored the apartment to see just how big it was. It is a corner apartment which makes it much larger and being on the middle floor means that you are protected from the sun in the heat of the day. We believe that we had the biggest patio on the site! The living/dining room was very large, easily big enough for 5 of us and the kitchen was more than adequate. The sleeping quarters were nicely separated from the living room so people watching Tv didn't keep anyone awake and the wifi and UK Tv made it easy to relax. the patio overlooked the gardens and swimming pool which meant we could sit outside and watch our kids take a dip in the pool. It was officially shut but no-one seemed to mind and it was warm enough for Brits!! there were shops within driving distance, the Zoo was great and well worth a visit especially as there were no crowds or queues. The local shopping centre a few miles away showed films in English and had a go kart track on top. It was a lovely apartment. fairly easy to find from Malaga and well within range of all tourist sites (including Gibraltar) by car. I would definitely stay there again.

Happy Happy Hen Time

We were so impressed with the size of the apartment , spacious , clean , tidy everything we needed was there . The beds were comfortable we all slept really well and woke to the beautiful sun drenched surroundings , overlooking the inviting swimming pool whilst eating our freshly prepared breakfast from the well equipped kitchen . The location was a short walk from the golf course where we enjoyed delicious evening meals , live music and happy friendly staff and of course Sangria in 'Happy Happy Hour ' . We had an Amazing !!! relaxing time and so look forward to returning in the near future .

Special interest holidays:

As we are directly opposite the El Esparagall natural park our apartment is ideal for walkers, bird watchers or cyclists. If you are into horses then here you can ride off road for hours with beautiful scenery.


Fuengirolas coastline covering 8 kilometres Los Boliches, Fuengirola, La Campana, Torreblanca, Las Gaviotas, well-cared for stretches of sand backed by a long and busy promenade.

La Cala beach resort is only a 5 min drive away and is quieter beach with many fine restaurants. Benalmadenas bustling Port area takes about 25 mins in the car.

Puerto Banus and Marbella are 30 minutes away. Benalmadena's bustling Port area 25 minutes. Please note that travelling times may vary in busy periods


Ryanair and most budget airlines fly into Malaga airport which is a 25 min drive. A taxi from the airport will cost you approximately 30 euros one way. Another option is the local train from the airport to Fuengirola then a taxi to the apartment. Alternatively cheap car hire can be arranged from Malaga airport. Taxis from the apartment into Fuengirola cost approximately 10/15 euros one way. We may be able to offer transfers at certain times or the year. Please enquire.


The village of Mijas is just a short drive up into the hills and is a typical Andalucian mountain village with narrow, winding streets and many shops. The town of Fuengirola is a 5min drive and supermarkets, restaurants, banks and the seafront etc are easily reached. Gibraltar is quickly reached by toll road approx 1½ hour. Take passports and allow for border control. Also within easy reach are Malaga, Ronda, Seville and Jerez.

Further Details:

Dunnes, Lidl, Aldi and Mercadona supermarkets, Myramar Shopping Plaza 5 minutes.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds but we can except payment in euros or by paypal..We rely upon the goodwill of our clients to vacate the property and leave it in a clean and tidy state. Should the property be left in poor condition, necessitating intensive cleaning, then an extra charge per hour may be deducted from the security deposit to cover extra cleaning costs.

Non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking. Balance plus £100 refundable deposit to cover damage/key loss is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. We will then forward your receipt, together with directions to the apartment and any additional relevant information. The damage/key deposit will be refunded, usually within a week of departure, providing all has been left in go

Changeover Day:
Change over day Saturday.. A possible alternative may be available according to time of year and should be arranged prior to arrival. The property must be vacated by 10am on day of departure to allow for cleaning and linen changeover.
