Situated in 2 acres of garden, with olive trees and lavender, this delightful 18th century farmhouse, full of character and tastefully furnished, commands uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. A short distance away from the house, there is a large enclosed L shaped pool (12x5m, in 2 directions), with a diving board and many stone terraces set amongst shady trees where you are sure to find refuge from the summer heat. The house is well positioned for access to the local village, Aix en Province and others major Provencal towns, cities and beaches. This 18th century farmhouse is rich in character and charm and furnished to very high standards. Its thick walls and leafy surroundings enable it to keep fresh during the summer months, essential in the Provencal climate.
The 70 + seniors of this family were invited to spend some time togheter with our youngest son and his family + their friends with two kids.Your estate is really perfect -both for the kids and the older ones. We loved your house, which offered space, comfort and and a feeling of cosiness.
Four children and six grownups - from one year old to 73. – no problem! Well equipped house, even some toys for the kids, lovely garden and also a great recreation area with a perfect pool.
A place to enjoy nice company but also to find peace of mind in the shadow under a tree on a hot August day. I hope we can return some day!

Fantastic family retreat
We were two families with children and an elderly couple who travelled to France together, and we had an amazing week at the maison. The house is very large and space, elegant but still feels very homey which makes for a relaxing stay. The garden is just perfect, large enough to explore but still intimate and private. It feels like you are in your own world, there may be some houses nearby but the feeling of privacy is complete. For a family with kids the pool was just perfection, large and set in a sunny part of the plot.

Absolutely wonderful holiday, especially for my Mother in law, who had just celebrated her 80th birthday. She is still an avid gardener and wandered around your lovely shady garden when she had had enough sun around the pool. She said on our return last night that it was the loveliest holiday she had ever had. Many thanks for the second lovely holiday at your house. Katherine and I decided that if we bought somewhere in France it would have to be a house of character like yours with a wonderful mature garden.

A wonderfully comfortable and charming house set in gorgeous mature terraced gardens with a lovely large pool area. The garden was a total adventure playground for the children, with its different terraces, and was a real surprise. It is so private but has wonderful views to Ventabren village and the surrounding countryside. We planned on using the house mainly as a base for touring, but it was so comfortable and charming that we spent a lot of time there, relaxing in the garden and lazing around the pool. The terrace beside the house is perfect for dining and we sat there most nights, chatting late into the night while sipping the excellent local wine. The house is in a great location too, a short distance to the local towns and many restaurants. It made for one of the most enjoyable and relaxing holidays in years. Our family totally loved it !.
