My name is Charlotte and my mother Rosie and I, run the villa! We live in Ireland, where we own and run several rental properties and have been running the villa in Goa as a guest house for eleven years now. We spend several months in heavenly south Goa ourselves each year at the villa. When we are away, our three fantastic staff - Devidas, Reema and Anand, who have all been with us since the start, take excellent care of the villa and the guests.
Charlotte purchased this apartment in 2004
We fell madly, hopelessly and deeply in love with Goa whilst on a holiday there and knew immediately that it was a place we wanted a base in! We escape the long cold Irish winters in the glorious Goan sunshine and color - it's a dream!
This is a great homely vibrant safe space and ideal base for a great time in Goa getting the best of of beach life and Indian village life. The villa is cleaned daily, all your laundry is done for you and it is very secure. It makes for a really great holiday.
I loved your place and I had the best time of my life there. I loved the vibrant decor and wall hangings, the interior is a credit to you. I will try and organize my holidays so that I can return again. Jane Tilley. April 2014
A rather late e-mail to let you know what a great time I had at the Pink Villa!! It was the perfect place to stay after a rather hectic tour and my stay was made all the more wonderful by meeting your family who were very entertaining. It was marvelous! Madeline Herrige. April 2011.
Just to let you know what a superb time I had at the villa. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful and i very much enjoyed Anands picking down of coconuts from the garden for me daily! What a charming place and very comfortable base for my delightful stay in that beautiful part of Goa. I was very impressed with the villa and happy to be there and will certainly be back. Thanks again for everything. Richard Thompson-Moore. February 2013
Thank you all for making the first leg of my first visit to India so smooth. I felt welcomed safe and completely relaxed at the villa and the Studio was ideal as my base camp. Devidas was a star and so helpful and what a treat to have my laundry done daily and to come back to a beautifully made bed with my laundry folded beautifully upon it! This did not happen for the rest of my travels in India!! I enjoyed sitting on the patio sheltering from the heat of the afternoon and getting some work done in the peace and tranquility of the garden with the occasional visit from a tiny chip monk! Charming place, delighted with my time there - thanks again. Jane Skovgaard. Ireland.
The garden flat is very comfortable and homely as is spacious. I have been coming here for the past 3 years. I find the village an excellent get away from the beach It's lovely and quiet and the restaurant's are really good warm and friendly. Patnem beach is walking distance at a low tide and a rickshaw back is 70p! A great location for chawdi which has banks, shops and a market on Saturdays a cab is £1 and it takes 5 mins to reach. so you have it all on your doorstep. Great for families as the viila has a bath and a shower and space for everything.
8 minute walk to idyllic and peaceful beach and lagoon. For those who prefer more beach action, Patnem and Palolem beaches are a few minutes away with their abundance of beach restaurants and bars etc. We have the best of both worlds on our door step.
Daboulim (Goa) airport is an hour and 15mins drive by taxi from the villa. (1100 rupees - approx 20 euro) If you require for us to organise a driver to collect you then let us know and this can be arranged. Margao train station is 45mins drive from the villa and has train connections to and from most of the major Indian cities.
The nearest town in Chaudi, 1.5kms away. Palolem is 5kms away, Patnem is 1.5kms away and The 5 star Lalit Goa resort and Spa hotel is opposite us. There are five excellent restaurants within a minutes walk.
