Located in the lovely Parish of St James, on the famous platinum West Coast of Barbados. The development known as Crystal Court is a gated community (electronic security gates) and consists of eleven buildings each housing four units, there is a shared swimming pool, tennis-court and club-house. Apartments are built in spacious surroundings that have been beautifully landscaped and planted with local shrubs and palm trees. Crystal Court is located in a quiet residential area around 1 mile inland in an elevated position allowing lovely inland and stunning sunset views from the front balcony of the apartment. Beautiful beaches and many restaurants, shops and banks are within a 5 minute drive. Apartment 303 is a modern luxury two-bed condominium type property completed in May 2005. The apartment has been tastefully furnished with locally produced furniture and comprises in brief: 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, living and dining room and front and rear balconies. Free (private) Wifi throughout the apartment for keeping in touch whilst in paradise!

My name is Joanne and I am married with 3 little boys now age 11, 8 and 7. I started going to Barbados fresh out of university and totally fell in love with it, so much so that when an opportunity came up to buy our own little piece of paradise, we grabbed it with both hands. My family and I try to get to Barbados as much as possible and my boys are now totally head over heals in love with it too! Barbados is a very special place with something for everyone and has the unique ability to keep drawing you back time and time again. We are very lucky to have our lovely apartment and enjoy sharing it with others so that they too can experience all that beautiful Barbados has to offer!

The apartment is in a peaceful, residential area where all you can hear are the tree frogs once the sun goes down! Its proximity to the coast was not so important to us as we are not a family that stays put on a beach in front of a hotel for 2 weeks - we like to go out and about with a picnic and discover new little stretches of beach, experience the east coast ruggedness and find little places to eat a little off the beaten track. As such, we have always hired a car while in Barbados. The apartment is perfectly situated for us as it is only a few minutes drive to the coast and is central enough to be able to get to any part of the island easily!
What makes this Apartment unique
We love this apartment as it is perfect for a family like ours, or anyone looking for affordable self catering accommodation close to everything. We love that our apartment is set well away from the road (so no road noise!) and has the benefit of overlooking the pool and tennis court. On a good day you can even see the sea! As the sun moves round during the day, the situation of our apartment on the complex means that the living areas are kept cool even while the sun is blazing onto the balcony! With families in mind, our apartment is well equipped with a highchair, travel cot, steriliser, baby bath and a 200+ dvd library for everyone to enjoy! We also have free private wifi throughout the apartment if you cannot live without your connectivity! Equally so, many of my regular visitors are retired couples wanting the freedom of a self catering apartment in a quiet location away from the busy coast. We have a lot of repeat visitors who are couples - this is the reason why we have different pricing groups - to ensure it is still affordable for 2 persons. At the same time, we charge slightly more for a family using the whole apartment but ensure that the apartment always represents excellent value for money regardless of how many people are staying there!

Quiet, personal and relaxing. A much needed peace of mind.
The amenities like the pool are a great refresher to an end of day chill from the heat. The convenience of being able to wash and dry clothes almost instantly in he sunny climate are ideal for traveling. The property is clean, sufficiently spacious and homey.

Absolutely fantastic. This is the third time we have rented this apartment. It's central location (car essential), home comforts, safe community and exceptional customer service from Joanne keeps us coming back.
The apartment is well proportioned and comfortable. Each time we go there is a new and thoughtful addition. A well stocked library of DVDs and books, kitchen equipment, plentiful towels and a large cooker and fridge.
The pool is regularly cleaned and the gardens are well looked after. A quiet development were we are regularly the only people in the pool.

Beautiful powdery white sandy beaches 5-10 minutes drive. All beaches in Barbados are public so there are 100's of beaches to choose from - from the bath-still waters of the Caribbean sea on the west coast, to the stunning rugged coastline on the east.
Approximately 25 minutes drive from Grantley Adams Airport (traffic dependant!). Car hire essential. Barbados drives on the left so perfect for Brits! There are so many beautiful beaches to go to and wonderful places to visit that a car hire is a must!
Large supermarket/banks 3 minutes drive. Many beaches, restaurants, bars, shops and banks etc. 5-10 minutes drive.
