|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Situated in Patrickswell just outside Limerick City, the house is a great launch pad for the West of Ireland. Adare is nearby and full of history with an excellent tourist centre. Make this your first day out and get information and ideas for your stay. Nearby routes include N20, N21, N69, N18 and N7. Small towns and shopping centre close by too. Very peaceful area. Many guests use us for family research, Limerick University, family reunions etc...
Our trip was everything we hoped for.
This property is in a perfect location to see all the sites with an easy beautiful drive. Ray and Mike were always available to answer any question we had and to give recommendations.
This house is exactly as the pictures and descriptions describe.
If you stay here you must go over to Adare and have dinner at the Blue Door. It was amazing. Mike made the recommendation since it was our anniversary - Thank you!
The only thing that was a surprise was the wall units for heat. But the house stayed comfortable the whole week. And we did have some cold weather.
We highly recommend this property.
We loved our stay at this cute house! We were here 4 nights and explored in all directions, we were 20-60 minutes away from wherever we wanted to go, and always had a quiet, relaxing place to come back to. Mike and Anne were fabulous hosts and even shared a delicious home baked pie with us, it was delicious and much appreciated. We had a little problem with Internet connection, but Mike had it fixed in minutes of us notifying him. If you have kids there is an enormous, well cared for, fenced yard that they could play in for hours. I would highly recommend it:-)
My two daughters and I just stayed at this cute house this past week for about two weeks and it was a very cozy and charming house. It was exactly what we envisioned when we thought of a house in Ireland. All the essentials were provided and the house and yard were kept up very nicely. It was just right outside the city that we could go out shopping and exploring during the day, but in the evenings sit on the back patio and enjoy a cup of tea while watching the sunset. Also, Mike was such a great host towards us. We could contact him for anything and he would get back to us fast and willing to help. We definitely plan on staying here again and would recommend it to anyone!
We stayed at Attyfin for a week whilst visiting family and would recommend to anyone. Home was bright and clean. All the stuff you need for a nice relaxing holiday. Kids loved the fact they had a grassy area to play on next to the property and on the nice evenings we could sit out at the patio and watch them knowing they were safely fenced in.
With 3 bedrooms and a good size kitchen it suited us perfectly. Easy to get to off the M20 motorway and 15 mins away from large shopping mall with cinema, supermarket and food hall.
Mike and Anne who looked after us whilst we were there were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. They even provided us WiFi connectivity for the kids (even though it was not listed as a feature) and kids loved it.
Directions and communication from the owner (Ray) was top class as well. Overall we'd like to think we'll be back again.
Our family (3 kids 10-12) got cozy in this farm-surrounded cottage outside Limerick City near Aldare. Though the spot is a little remote, well, a lot of Ireland is kinda that way. It was a great spot to use to explore local ruins, castles and villages. The cottage itself was real Ireland from what we learned. Clean, cool and tight. Oddly, our family slept like kings in that setting-- somehow it was perfect for our kids to sleep better than they have ever before! A nice fenced yard with huge space plus quiet road was very nice, too. Ray is very easy to work with plus Mike next door is very pleasant and helpful.
The cottage was clean, spacious and large enough for a family of 4. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of sheets and towels provided. The garden is massive which was fantastic for our two boys to run around in!
The shower was good and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean. There is also a washing machine which was very useful at the half way point in our trip around Ireland.
The cottage is situated 1 minute off junction 4 of the N21 which allows very easy access to both Adare and Limerick.
Thanks for a lovely stay and we'll definitely be back if we come to Ireland again!
