We miss it already

  • 5 of 5

We have two young daughters and have been fortunate to travel quite a bit. This was the perfect place for us in Ireland. It was quiet, had a great yard, the hosts Mike and Anne were very kind and it was very convenient to Lough Gur, Adare, King John's Castle and Bunratty Castle. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived and were sad to leave.

It should be noted for future visitors that this a simple house in the country side - not a modern hotel. Everything is a bit smaller and older (such as the fridge) and on one day during our stay the smell of the nearby farm was quite strong. For us none of this was a problem and the price, location, and great next door hosts all easily made up for it.

Also if you are looking to use your phone to navigate look for "BI Curtains Direct" - it's across the street just before the house.

We would stay again.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at what we called the cottage to experience a little of country Ireland and to be central to several of the areas and sites we wanted to see. This was the perfect choice. Easy to find and check in, close to stores, restaurants and pubs and very clean. The pictures are very accurate and we found everything very satisfactory, right down to the nightlight in the bedroom, the first time we had seen this in 10 years of staying at VRBOs. Very much appreciated. Well done. If we every head to the area again we would stay here.

Cozy and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Our trip was everything we hoped for.

This property is in a perfect location to see all the sites with an easy beautiful drive. Ray and Mike were always available to answer any question we had and to give recommendations.

This house is exactly as the pictures and descriptions describe.

If you stay here you must go over to Adare and have dinner at the Blue Door. It was amazing. Mike made the recommendation since it was our anniversary - Thank you!

The only thing that was a surprise was the wall units for heat. But the house stayed comfortable the whole week. And we did have some cold weather.

We highly recommend this property.

Great central home base for exploring

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this cute house! We were here 4 nights and explored in all directions, we were 20-60 minutes away from wherever we wanted to go, and always had a quiet, relaxing place to come back to. Mike and Anne were fabulous hosts and even shared a delicious home baked pie with us, it was delicious and much appreciated. We had a little problem with Internet connection, but Mike had it fixed in minutes of us notifying him. If you have kids there is an enormous, well cared for, fenced yard that they could play in for hours. I would highly recommend it:-)

Quaint and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

My two daughters and I just stayed at this cute house this past week for about two weeks and it was a very cozy and charming house. It was exactly what we envisioned when we thought of a house in Ireland. All the essentials were provided and the house and yard were kept up very nicely. It was just right outside the city that we could go out shopping and exploring during the day, but in the evenings sit on the back patio and enjoy a cup of tea while watching the sunset. Also, Mike was such a great host towards us. We could contact him for anything and he would get back to us fast and willing to help. We definitely plan on staying here again and would recommend it to anyone!
