The third bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, mirror & bedside units and has ensuite facilities.

The fourth bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables, it has a private bathroom.

There is a guest lounge with satellite TV, guest dining room & a fridge with cold drinks & a tea/coffee making facility. A choice of breakfast is also available.

All rooms are fully double glazed.

About The Owner

We decided to relocate to this region in 2003

and change our lives completly,I was a district nurse and my partner a chartered accountant.

we have a daughter who is now 16yrs, in 6th form at school and hopes to go to university here in

spain.

We purchased our home knowing it would be suitable for holiday accomodation and B and B so people could enjoy the area and Spanish life as much as we do.

I very much enjoy meeting new people and we are very hospitable at casaolivos.

Being Spanish speaking my partner works mainly with the Spaniards and has many as friends, he is very much into the spanish way of life At Casaolivos we press our own olives and let guests sample.

We do most of our cooking outdoors in summer, my partner is a very good cook and enjoys guests to try his cooking

Why The Owner chose Mojacar area

We and many who have stayed enjoy the tranquil location of our home surrounded by olive groves and spectacular views of the mountains yet 2km from the town ,can walk ,nearest accomodation to town for rental. Only 35mins to coast many beaches to choose . many places of interest for day trips, fiestas in summer locally and daily markets plentiful. The area is very spanish with friendly locals. Tapas bars, banks and shops are all nearby 1.5km.

At Casaolivos you can enjoy tranquility around the pool or a busy day out

What makes this unique

Casaolivos is situated on a tarmac country lane 1.5km from the start of town, is very easy to find

We have wi-fi here so guests can bring their laptops or have use of internet when nesessary,

English and Spanish is spoken in the main house, help with any translations,advice on the area or for those house hunting advice on many issues that can arise can be given.

We do provide taxi service when asked for, prices on request and very reasonable.

Special interest holidays:

The area is ideal for walking holidays and there is abundant birdlife locally to observe.

Coast/Beach:

The beaches of Garrucha/Vera & Mojacar are 30 & 35 minute drive away resectively, both have been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness. The beaches are easily acessible & parking closeby is usually simple. The beaches at San Juan & Vilaricos are also closeby. A little further away is the Cabo de Gata natural park with its stunning beaches & cristal clear waters.

Travel:

The airports of Almeria (1hr), San Javier(1hr 40m) & Alicante (1hr 50m) & Granada (2hr)are all easily accessible by the excellent motorway system. Car hire is essential to fully appreciate what the area has to offer.

Distances:

The town of Albox with its banks, shops, bars & restaurants is 1km from the accommodation, the beaches are 30 minutes drive, Granada & the Alhambra is 2 hours drive away, Mini Hollywood & the desert is 1 hour drive and the lakes at Baza are just over 1 hours drive. There is a waterpark at Vera 30 minutes drive.

Further Details:

Albox has all the facilities for day to day living - shops, banks, supermarkets & many restaurants/bars. Here you can still enjoy a 3-course menu del dia for 5 euro. All the local towns & villages have daily markets where you can buy a large variety of goods.

The lakes at Baza have a turquoise water & spectacular scenery reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. There are also many local Natural Parks to explore and a 16th century castle in Velez Blanco.

    For the apartment we require 30% with the booking & the balance 4 weeks before the arrival date. If booked within 4 weeks of the arrival date all the monies are due on arrival.
    The Bed & Breakfast has a payment on departure system.

    Changeover Day:
    Preferred changeover day is Saturday, arrivals after 4pm & departures before 11am.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for families, having both a pool and extensive fenced area to explore, yet close to all amenities. There is wireless internet access available in the apartment. Outside: Outside there is a barbecue, wooden table & chairs, a 9m x 4.5m pool (shared with the owners) with a 140 sqm fully tiled/walled terrace. There is also a table tennis table. There is a large gravelled area for guests to enjoy with many palm trees. The extensive fenced area has many large olive trees & a childs swing.
