Casa Samuel, our poolside village home is located within a small community, a few minutes stroll from the centre of the village. Designed and furnished to a high standard in typical rustic Andalucian style with exposed wood beams and a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings, (radiators in other rooms). Cooling fans are provided for the hot summer months. Spectacular views from the private balcony (lounger chairs provided) and a sheltered terrace with a further table and chairs for alfresco dining. We are one of the few village houses in Montejaque with easy vehicle access and where you are able to park outside your own front door. Casa Samuel is registered as a "Casa Rural". We therefore meet the high standards required by the Andalucian Tourism Authority, as well as complying with all their necessary safety requirements.

We've had a wonderful week in Casa Samuel. The house is set just a minute or so away from the village square, overlooking mountains with a pool on the doorstep. It was cosy, extremely clean and well equipped for a family of 5. Sue responded quickly to all our emails and was very helpful. Montejaque is a gorgeous white village in the heart of Sierra Nevada where the locals are extremely friendly. We arrived in the August heat at the beginning of their week long festival. Amazing. All night activities!! We'll definitely be back.

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. La sierra de Grazalema es un lugar precioso para hacer senderos y visitar los pueblos blancos.
La casa está bien equipada y dispone de una piscina para los días calurosos.
Approx. 45 mins/1 hr to nearest beach (San Pedro).
Fly direct to Seville, Malaga or Gibraltar from regional airports. (Malaga nearest airport - approx. lhr 30 mins to Montejaque). Car hire recommended - there are several car rental desks at the airport. There is also an efficient railway network.
Montejaque is only 15 minutes away from historic Ronda with its spectacular gorge, lovely restaurants, shops and plenty of old palaces and places of interest to visit. There are many old archaeological remains in the area. The unique Pileta caves with their prehistoric paintings are only a few minutes away.
Montejaque is a wonderful, typical Andalucian 'white village', with traditional Moorish style architecture. It has a central square, church, village shops, bank, local bars serving tapas, restaurants and picturesque narrow, winding streets, with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. Montejaque stands in the Grazalema Natural Park famed for its walking, birdwatching, flaura and fauna. Horse riding and hiring bicycles can also be organised locally. Maps are available for walking and for scenic car routes, taking in the area's wonderful villages and places of interest. This is an ideal place for relaxing away from the coast. Many picturesque 'pueblo blancos' are only a short drive away, each with their own individual character, and there are many sites of historical interest worth seeing. For those who prefer to be more active there are plenty of sports and leisure activities in the area. Montejaque also has a large public swimming pool and a tennis court. This is an ideal location to take day trips to Seville, Cordoba and Granada.
