Best Stay in ANC
Very homey comfortable clean close to downtown and hospital
Thank you Susan, and thank you for taking such good care of our little cottage!❤
Host’s were very welcoming!
We had a great stay! Our daughter loved all the toys and books and it was very nice having the fridge stocked with some goodies and drinks! The house was very clean and tidy. Will definitely be staying again in the future!
Comfortable and convenient
This small house in a quiet neighborhood, close to downtown, was ideal for my purposes: I live in Anchorage but had to move out of my own home for two weeks while my daughter was quarantined after travel. From Cedar Alley was a pleasant walk to work; in the evenings it was comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend it.
Peter we loved having you; thank you for taking such good care of our little cottage!
Right at Home
We very much enjoyed our 3rd stay at Cedar Alley. The Home and the Owners are Awesome. Look forward to our next stay.

Right At Home
We enjoyed our second stay and have booked again. Very comfortable home with amazing attention to details that make you feel like you are right at home. Definitely our favorite place to stay in Anchorage.
South Addition in Anchorage is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. It has an eclectic mix of old and new homes, exhibiting a wide range of architectural styles, paint schemes, and garden amenities.
Pamela and Lee Jenkins
About Pamela and Lee Jenkins
I moved into the house in 1994, and purchased it in 1998. Upon our marriage in 1999, my husband moved in with me. For 16 years this was our family home and saw the addition of two children. When the opportunity to buy a larger home nearby presented itself, we moved, but kept the house so we could give others the opportunity to experience downtown Anchorage living.
Pamela and Lee Jenkins purchased this Cottage in 1998
Why Pamela and Lee Jenkins chose South Addition
I bought this house because the area presented the kind of close-knit neighborhood feel I was looking for in a home. Although Anchorage is a very transient place, we have many neighbors who have been here for decades, just as I have been for over 20 years. At the same time, there have been new additions across all age groups, keeping the atmosphere fresh and lively.
What makes this Cottage unique
You can walk to a bakery, a well-stocked grocery, and many downtown attractions. There are bus stops for 4 public transit buses within two blocks. And, if you're driving, the major roads into, out of, and through the city are easily accessible.
