House near Soller, Mallorca - Perfectly Situated between 3 of the Most Beautiful Villages in Mallorca

2 bedroom traditional stone Mallorquin house beautifully restored but with all the modern conveniences. Spectacular mountain views from every window of the house and from the patio, terraces and the lovely large garden. The house is within easy walking distance to 3 historic villages; Fornalutx, Biniaraix and Soller, and a 10 minute drive to the beaches. also, the house is perfectly located for walkers. the ancient barranc steps which go to cuber and beyond are located very near the house. In regards to my rental rates, a a slightly higher rental price is available for 3/4 people. Please email me for prices.

Notes on accommodation: Pets open to discussion. Babies and children welcome. Outside: Cascading over the wall is a gorgeous bank of bouganvillia. You will find lavander, rosemary, laurel and other herbs as well as many varieties of flowers and cacti. Nearby are Jacaranda, Mimosa, Lemon and Orange trees. At the foot of the garden is a small terrace overlooking the western mountains. A perfect place to view the last light at sunset. The patio has table and chairs and a large umbrella, more table and chairs are inside the garden. On the 2nd floor is a terrace with table and chairs and a window access to the kitchen (lovely to pass drinks through for sunset watching and later dinner while watching the rising moon and stars). And a great place to relax after an invigorating walk up the barannc. Utility Room: Washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provided. Other: Large entrada with seating.

Lovely property, stunning mountain views

This was a lovely property, clean and welcoming. The garden was beautiful with amazing views from the patio and terrace, Everything you needed was there! I wouldnt recommend it for the elderly or young children as the stairs were quite steep up to the bedroom. Sallie the owner was so helpful to us via email and was available to answer any questions. The location caused some confusion with the local bus driver/taxi firm . You need to ask for L'Horta de Biniaraix (not Fornalutx or Soller) as they want to take you to the centre of each! I would definitely recommend it to a friend/relative, especially if they want to immerse themselves in the true Mallorcan way of life, as we did. The walk from the property up through Biniaraix to Soller was wonderful and took about 30 mins. Fornalutx was lovely and the Pizza restaurant there was very friendly. Soller itself is lovely and of course the beach at Port de Soller is a must. If you dont hire a car, the bus stops just along to the left of the property and goes straight there. We would definitely stay there again. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Beautiful house in spectacular location

We have just come back after spending a lovely week in this beautiful finca. The house is perfectly located, set in the mountains with the most amazing views to wake up to every morning. The nearby village of Fornalutz is within easy walking distance and has great restaurants and cafes and is a very pleasant place to spend evenings, as is Soller with all its shops. Palma is within easy reach too, about 25 minutes drive, via the tunnel, very nice city.The house is large and has a beautiful garden which our children loved spending time in, but the house has all mod cons that you could need too. Lots of paintings around the house and I actually did some painting myself! Would love to come back one day.

The port of Soller and beaches are about a ten minute drive away from the house. The famous vintage wooden trams take 10 mins from soller to the port. At the port there are 2 beaches set across from each other in the bay, one of which-The Repic is in a pedestrianized zone and is the quieter of the two. both sides of the port have many restaurants and places for coffee or a drink. There are also beautiful coves in Deia and Valldemosa within an hours drive.


Palma airport is a 45 minute drive away, where a hirecar can be picked up. A train runs between Soller and Palma.

A car is recommended.


Less than 5 min drive to Soller and Fornalutx the nearest villages, and a wonderful short walk up to Biniaraix.

Further Details:

My house is perfect for a walking holiday. it is very near the famous ancient barranc steps that go to cuber. There are many other great walking trails nearby. if you like to walk in then mountains, you will find this the perfect house for you.

Soller has all the shops, restaurants, banks and markets you will need. Fornalutx has one food shop, restaurants and 3 bars.

There is a recently opened cinema/shopping complex/Festival Park within a 30 min drive. The complex has shopping, international restaurants, bowling alley and reptile park.

Municipal swimming and tennis

there is an excellent open-air olympic size swimming pool with 5 clay courts and 4 paddle tennis courts. take the turning left opposite a restaurant called "Sa Tuelera" as you head down from fornalutx. it has a fabulous setting with changing rooms, a snack bar and sun loungers. it is 4euros a day per person to swim and 5 euros an hour for tennis.
