Villa in Dalyan, Turkey - Peaceful Location,10-12 Mins Walk to the Town, WIFI
About Pat Loosemore
My husband Ken and myself are now retired, which means we can spend as many weeks at the villa ourselves. We live in Bedfordshire in a village.
Pat Loosemore purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Pat Loosemore chose Dalyan
We love Dalyan & have been coming here several times a year for the last 14 years. We never tire of it, and find the villa is the one place we can come and forget everything and just relax. It is a home from home with all the amenities we have in our main home. We love relaxing round the pool, swimming, going on boats trips, having lunch down by the river, and going out for meals most nights with a great selection of restaurants to choose from. Then to one of the bars for a nightcap before strolling home.
What makes this Villa unique

Great pool area
Quite location not to far from town. 15 minutes walk. Villa has all the things you need. The pool area is the best thing about it. Very sheltered from any other villas and road.
Negative things smoke alarms battery not changed so late evening 2 of them start bleeping to warn of low battery. We just managed to find shop to get new ones otherwise would have been going all night and would have kept us up. Feel they should be changed more frequently. We found the mattresses to hard and feel pillows could do with renewing.
Overall a great place to stay and would go again.
We make a point of renewing smoke alarm batteries every May, so I don’t understand why they went so quickly. Also we did renew all the pillows that needed replacing in May. I will look at them again & replace any more that need it though.
Well layed out bunglow pool and garden area excellent some updates required ie linen and crockery
Pool and garden area excellent a great layout as one member of party has mobility problems good size rooms just a little too far from centre however would not stop us visiting again
10day stay at villa cennet
Contact with owner was excellent. Everything was very organised. Villa a short walk to all the lovely shops, restaurants that dalyan has to offer. Villa very spacious and very clean and well kept. Pool was cleaned every morning nice and early so could be used all day. Would recommend staying here and we hope to come back next year. Lovely quiet area and garden area provides privacy around villa and pool.
Collins family holiday 2019
We have had a marvellous time at villa cennet. The villa is quite spacious with 3 lovely bedrooms. The pool and garden is lovely and private. All well maintained and located near enough to walk into town. My daughters were very happy with the Wi-Fi and the accessability of tv channels including Netflix and Now tv. Across from the villa ,there is a spa which you can use by booking in the town (mimi's). Her husband will take you on his tuk tuk which is great fun. I can't emphasise how lovely the villa ,people and the whole experience was and i hope to use again in the future.
So glad you all had such a lovely time, and we look forward to hearing from you again.
Lovely family friendly Dalyan villa
Villa Cennet, certainly measured up to the promises offered by its description. In a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town centre it provided us with an excellent base to enjoy a lot of what Dalyan has to offer. The large pool and well kept garden are great features of this property. The three good sized bedrooms are very comfortable and the villa is well equipped for a family holiday. All of the transfer and handover arrangements were efficient and very helpful. Our first visit to Dalyan left us with a very positive impression and a wish to return. The opportunities to explore using the river boats and very reasonable dolmus buses certainly whetted the appetite for another visit. The flowers in full bloom were spectacular in late June and the surrounding landscape provides a rugged backdrop.
A great introduction to charming Dalyan
Beautiful Iztuzu beach (voted number 6 in the top 10 beaches of the world) is a short boat or bus ride from the town centre. This is approximately a 12 minute walk from the villa, or you can take the local dolmus (bus) from just along the lane. The famous river-front runs along the edge of town which is also a 12 minute walk from the property.
The nearest airport is Dalaman, which is a 25-30 min transfer from Dalyan. We can arrange this for you at a cost of approx £60 return (depends how many people). Car hire is not essential but is available quite cheaply if you want to travel around the area.
Marmaris - approx 90 minutes by bus
Fethiye - approx 1 hour by bus
There are numerous local attractions, and activities, including the mud baths, boat trips/hire, Iztuzu beach, Kaunos ancient ruins, diving, snorkeling, bird watching, paragliding, white water rafting, and spectacular scenery everywhere. There are numerous bars and restaurants, but without all the noise associated with more commercialised resorts. Dalyan is still a relatively small town, and the locals are very friendly. The main road is closed to traffic during the evening. There is a small shop a couple of minutes walk down the lane where you can get fresh bread, cheese, drinks etc. More shops and a large supermarket are found on the walk towards the town, only minutes away. The post office, bank and public phones can be found in the town centre.
