This ground floor apartment has a front garden terrace, and a large private patio to the rear. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are open plan. There are 2 fully fitted bedrooms, and a fully equipped bathroom. This south facing apartment is only 5 minutes from the beaches and lagoons. It is an escape to where life slows down, and you wil be able to relax and unwind in beautiful unspoilt surroundings. Enjoy picturesque beach walks, and superb dining out in traditional Canarian restaurants. A perfect place to chill out.
We are Ray & Maureen Harrison from Morecambe in the North West of England. Ray is a retired Railway Signaller, and Maureen is still a dress maker.

We have been travelling to Fuerteventura for 20 years, and fell in love with El Cotillo on our first visit.
When we knew that they were building 2 bedroom apartments here, we were lucky enough to be able to purchase one..
We love the climate, the friendly local people, the beaches, and especially the food.
We also love the laid back and chilled atmosphere, where everything is manana.
Only some ten minutes walk from the beach, we enjoyed the good level of furnishings and equipment in this ground floor apartment. The balcony faced due south, and so got sun from the morning until the evening. Although there were no views, the apartment met our needs for a comfortable base within El Cotillo and within reasonable walking distance from the beach. The apartment is well situated for a three minute walk down to the harbour,where you can sample one of the five or six restaurants around there. There is an hourly bus service to Coralejo, and the rest of the island can be explored by car. (There is now a car hire company, Cotillo Cars, based in El Cotillo.) If arriving without a car, Resort Hoppa or similar will drop you off at the Cotillo Beach Hotel, about 400 yards from the apartment.
The apartment was clean and especially well maintained, we felt, and the local pay as you go internet service, purchased through the local Laundry shop, worked well in the apartment ( and probably throughout El Cotillo, although we did not use out tablets outside the apartment.
All in all a very pleasant stay, and we will consider using the apartment for future stays.
Enjoyable 1 week stay here at this 2 bedroom apartment which was clean and tidy and had all facilities we needed for the week. The apartment was bright and had a nice front patio area to sit out and we enjoyed our breakfasts outside and also had a walled outside area to the rear which was handy to hang clothes and wet beach towels. The owner was friendly and accommodating and had good communication via email and sorted out airport transfers for us. The apartment was within easy walking distance to the lagoon beaches where we spent our days relaxing on the beach and swimming, surfers beach also within walking distance. The apartment is also a short walk from the supermarket as well as corner shops that are open late which is handy. Restaurants/ eateries are nearby as is the old part of town so it is in a good location. I also found it to be a nice quiet apartment block. I would recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay here again. Thanks Ray and Maureen!
To the North of the village there are a number of sandy beaches and lagoons, which have been awarded blue flag status. To the South are long stretches of beaches, backed by cliffs. Both within walking distance of the apartment.
El Cotillo is only 40 minutes drive from the airport. We can arrange to pick you up at the airport for a fee. Car hire is recommended although not essential, as there is a good bus service.
Corralejo, the largest town in the North of the island, is a 20 minute drive away, or there is a regular hourly bus service.
El Cotillo is a small and rustic sleepy fishing village. There are several small shops, a bakery, surf shop and bicycle hire. There is now a supermarket within walking distance. There is a bank with a cash machine. Nightlife is centered around eating out, and there are a good selection of restaurants to choose from.

To book just phone or email us. Deposit is £50 per week, and the remainder 4 weeks before departure. Price is £300 per apartment for 2 people per week. £320 for 3, and £340 for 4 people.
Changeover day is flexible. We will accommodate any day.
