Newly refurbished with a brand new fitted kitchen complete with new equipment, crockery and utensils and new lounge and dining area furniture.

Situated on the outskirts of the small town of Alcossebre, a 3 bedroom,2 bathroom semi-detached villa in extensive well kept grounds, with use of a communal swimming pool. Excellent access to sea and beautiful unspoilt beaches together with opportunities for hill walking / bird watching in the near by National Park.

The house has comfortable and spacious living accommodation and provides an excellent home from home.

Why Allen McKay chose Alcalà de Xivert

Alcossebre is a jewel of a town. Really easy to get to, but once there you could be forgiven for thinking that you were miles from anywhere.

The town is relatively small and under developed helped by the establishment of a National Park enveloping the outskirts of the town and local planning laws that forbid the excessive development seen towards the south of Spain.

Most of the properties in the town are owned by Spanish families which creates a great atmosphere in the area particularly during the Easter and Christmas periods and during the school summer holidays.

Alcossebre provides a great base for exploring the cosmopolitan cities of both Barcelona (to the north) and Valencia (to the south) as well as the spectacular and unspoilt in land areas around towns like Morella.

What makes this villa unique

Our home has the benefits of peace and tranquility by being situated on the outskirts of the town, but we enjoy all the hustle and bustle of a family oriented seaside town within a ten minute walk.

The patio and extensive area of lawn outside our home mean we can enjoy the sea views whilst our children and their friends have a large safe grass area to play on.

The swimming pool is of course essential, it's a 30 second stroll from the house to the pool.

In the town there is a very wide range of excellent well priced restaurants serving great spanish food and wine using fresh local produce.

There is also a range of good supermarkets and shops to cater for the needs of those wanting to cook for themselves.

Notes on accommodation: Suitable for families with small children (although the pool area is not fenced off) lots of lawned areas for play / relaxation. Outside: Private patio with glass garden table and 6 chairs, very well kept private gardens, communal swimming pool. There is a large BBQ for client's use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels (for use in the house ONLY) provided - clients to provide own towels for use around the pool and on beach. Property cleaned at the end of each holiday let.

Fantastic position with a sea view

A lovely villa in a fantastic position with a sea view. So good this was our second visit. The only minor issue was the mosquito netting on the windows could do with renewing.

A fantastic property lovely location, highly recommended.

The property was as described, in a lovely location. There were a couple of problems, which were fixed very quickly once i contacted the owner. Would love to stay here again, highly recommended.

Las Haciendas

Lovely house in beautiful location, within gated complex, very secure. Very well maintained gardens and pool. House had everything we required, although using the kettle trips out/fuses the electricity, so we had to boil a saucepan to make tea! Thats our only complaint, everything else was absolutely lovely. The property and location were better than expected. The photos on the website do not do it justice. On a very quiet and private corner plot.

Wunderschönes kleines Ferienhaus

Das Objekt befindet sich in einem ruhigen Ortsteil von Alcossebre. Trotzdem sind es nur etwa 10min Fußweg zum Zentrum. Das Haus ist schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.

Superbe endroit, au calme et à 2 pas de la mer !

Petit lotissement composé de 16 habitations avec une belle piscine sur les hauteurs du village. Entièrement sécurisé par une clôture, cette habitation est très bien située avec vue sur la mer. La maison est spacieuse et agréable à vivre au quotidien. L'équipement est complet; mais il manque l'air conditionné... les ventilateurs ne sont plus utiles par fortes chaleurs ! La terrasse est notre pièce de vie, spacieuse avec cette vue magnifique, elle nous apporte la bonne humeur ! Nous avons passé de bonnes vacances et y reviendrons probablement... Merci pour les bons conseils, dont le restaurant El Pinar :-)

Alcossebere with 5 local blue flag beaches is 1 kilometre away (c.10 minutes walk). Masses of choice up and down the coast within 30 minutes drive from small quaint unspoilt villages to large developed towns.


NEW FOR 2015 - Castellon airport only 15 minutes away

Barcelona Reus - 1 hour 20 mins.

Barcelona International 1 hour 45 mins.

Valencia - 1 hour.

Alicante - 2 hours 30 minutes.

Car hire / use recommended although not essential.

Although quite small, Alcossebre has a good selection of shops including well stocked supermarkets, the nearest of which is less than 5 minutes from the house. There is also a wide selection of good restaurants and bars in the town.
