About Allen Chapman

We are a married couple that enjoy a very relaxing vacation. I'm an IT professional and my wife is an interior decorator. We reside in the midwest in Cincinnati, OH. We have two daughters that have both recently married and enjoy careers as a teacher & lawyer.

Allen Chapman purchased this condo in 2004

Why Allen Chapman chose Florida South Gulf Coast

We love the laid back pace on Marco Island where you can go anywhere in a T-shirt & shorts. I enjoy fishing & being around of all types of wildlife and Marco is perfect for that. We wanted to be on the South End of the Island away from the traffic & being directly across from the beach entrance was a big plus for us & our guests. Our condo is on the 3rd floor and we have a great view of the ocean & sunsets from our screened lania. Also the condo complex has a special tropical feel and is layed out nicely with a large heated pool, tiki hut, and tennis court.

What makes this condo unique

Close to Beach Entrance, close to Caxcambus Marina Park, on the South End away from the traffic, large heated pool, well maintained condo complex.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Allen & Diane,

Thanks so much for another great relaxing stay at your condo. I can tell you take pride in your property & love how you have it decorated. We had a perfact stay and really enjoyed sitting out on your lania in the morning with a cup of coffee.

Nice condo. Close to beach access. Good owners to rent from. We have stayed here before and look forward to returning next year. Most people very friendly who stay here.

March 2016 visit

  • 2 of 5

This was close to the beach access which was great, but we were very disappointed in the unit. There were many towels, but most very old and frayed. Bedding, poor quality. The staff cleaning did a great job with what they were hired to do. However, we found a dirty toothbrush in the silverware drawer, an old door in the master bedroom and cabinets in the bathrooms that could not be used. While this unit could certainly be updated, the owner could update this by purchasing quality linens etc. The only wine glasses were plastic. There is a reason the bathroom is not pictured on the website.

Again, a great location but the unit needs attention.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your feedback. We have replaced the towels & linens. In June we hired a new Cleaning Service that has a team & checklist process to monitor our condo. Bathrooms have new faucets & shower rods/curtains. Glass is not allowed at the pool or beach & the reason for plastic glasses. Fines for glass are issued on the beach.

Like being home !

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed recently with our daughter and her friend for spring break. This condo was fantastic. It was like being at home. The cable/internet service periodically acted up (pixelation and dropping out) but that is the service provider issue not the condo owner. Condo had everything that we needed including plenty of linens. Close proximity to the beach access made for a gentle walk even for my husband and I with mobility issues. Other residents of condos were very friendly. My husband and I got stuck in the elevator one evening due to a elevator door malfunction but the property management responded very quickly. We were only stuck for about 20 minutes. Property management had elevator maintenance on the property very quickly to have the elevator operational. I would gladly stay at this condo again. The condo owner is great to work with and returned our deposit promptly. The area is a joy to visit. The beaches were beautiful and the sunsets are awesome. Several people gather on the beach in the evening to watch the sunset. One evening the sunset was absolutely beautiful and those watching actually applauded once the sun was below the horizon. The Sunset Grill across the street had a wonderful coconut encrusted grouper on special. The Chilean sea bass at Marco Prime is amazing. My trip to the farmers market on Wednesday ended with wonderful pastries, bread, jewelry, flowers and some new raffia hats. It was a joy to see everyone walking, jogging, running and riding bikes through the island. You can take the Key West Express boat trip to Key West and back but I would stay one night in Key West to enjoy the dinner scene.

Great stay in Marco

  • 5 of 5

This property features 2bdrms. and 2 baths.Although just 2 of us stayed here , 6 people would be comfortable here.Property owner Allen was congenial and prompt answering emails and tenant friendly. Condo had everything a couple or group would need for a week or more stay

Location was excellent being across from the Gulf and near the path to Beach. Great pool and weather this week. People in the complex were friendly.

If we return to Marco, will be sure to return.

The condo was very attractively furnished with plenty of room for four adults and one toddler. The screened in porch afforded an attractive view while having breakfast. Comfortable family room lounge chairs were a great place to relax after a day of activities. Pool was just the right temperature and there were both sunny and shady areas in which to relax. Beach access was just a short walk across the street, which made it easy to pick up and go whenever we had the urge.

Great vacation rental!

  • 5 of 5

This condo is really great. Nicely furnished and decorated and well equipped. The folks at Seaview are very nice and the owners are easy to work with. Seaview is a very short walk to the beach and there are Gulf views from the unit. The Seaview building is just the right size and we enjoyed the pool and tennis court which you can see from the unit. This family of four will definitely stay here again when we come back to Marco.
