Fantastic sea view villa in Mallorca
Fantastic villa in Mallorca, sun from morning to evening, stunning sea view and 300 meters to some of the small best beaches in Mallorca ..
- and a really nice host.

Beautiful position and lots of room in this house. We would gladly return .
The price is good for this type of property as it is fairly old . The position is unique and there is a large pool which is fabulous . It could do with a few more fans as no air con in downstairs . As it is set on three floors it’s ideal for a couple of families or a big family . The owner has decided to leave her own personal photos etc . I personally would pack them away during the letting season . A couple of chairs and sun beds could be replaced as quite old . If you don’t need a fancy kitchen or fancy bathrooms this is a fabulous house . We would return
Unbeatable views in a great location
We recently returned from a fantastic week-long stay in this beautiful villa. The views are breath-taking, the pool is a fantastic size and the location is spot on, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Cala D'Or and the marina (perfect for my grandparents). There are even steps down to the sea so you can go for a dip in the crystal clear water.
The villa is obviously a loved home, not just another holiday rental, and we really liked that it had a traditional Spanish feel rather than being super-modern and plain. The owner has furnished it with care and we spent our week spotting new, quirky pieces of furniture and decor.
It is also well-equipped. You will find more crockery than you could ever need and plenty of cooking utensils, perfect if you plan to eat lunch or have any dinners in. The oven was simple to use, there are two dishwashers and we even fired up the BBQ (although this is worn and tricky to use).
Some bedrooms and bathrooms are more dated than others, but this is stated in the listing and reflected in the price - it isn't a modern house and we knew to expect this. There are probably three really nice bedrooms of a decent size with the remaining being smaller and more basic. Some of us had better bathrooms, so we tended to share these. Eleven adults stayed in total and we never felt like we were on top of each other.
Wendy, who handled the booking, was very helpful. She took the time to answer all of my questions and we even spoke on the phone prior to booking. This was great as I was a little nervous booking a villa for the first time. Wendy also went out of her way to resolve an issue with the safe which was much appreciated.
All-in, we had a truly memorable family holiday here. The location and views blew us away and we hope to return again one day. Thank you!
The villa itself is old and dated. The security of it is extremely worrying, some Doors and shutters didn’t lock.
However the villa is clean and in a superb location. The views from the pool area are stunning. I wouldn’t recommended this villa if you have young children as some dangerous areas. As a family we had a lovely time I would definitely return to Cala D’Or.
Fabulous setting in a convenient, quiet location
Prior to the trip we were given clear instruction on how and when to pay, directions to the villa and what to expect. Since then I have had my breakage deposit returned so everything has been smooth and efficient.
The villa is large and spacious with plenty of different rooms and terraces. It directly overlooks the sea and I was told by a local it is rare to find a 'front line' villa available for rent. The views are seriously stunning and such a pleasure to laze by the pool or dine outside.
It is an older villa so it comes with the quirks and characteristics you would expect - water pressure can be a bit funny, the en-suites are compact and its decor is quite traditional in places. It's not an ultra-modern place with mod-cons but it is well equipped.
It's a short, flat walk into the centre of Cala d'Or and the local beach. Cala d'Or food provisions can be a bit samey but with a villa in a great location we were more than happy to eat in some nights.
The only things to be aware of is that 2 of the rooms are fairly small twin 'box rooms' and these are not on the photos - probably alright for kids. The other thing is that the lowest floor at pool level is below ground from the front of the house so was a bit damp when we had the villa in spring - it will be fine in summer after the winter rains have dried out.
Thank you so much for your review and instructive and nice comments. It is much appreciated.
It is always important to consider that waterfont houses, however modern they are, in Mallorca, will give a sensation of damp at the start and end of the season. The sea air penetrates the houses and settles in sheets and clothing which gives a damp sensation. Once these items are in use, the sensation does go away.
I hope to see you next year.
Kind regards from Olga.
