This is the second times I have stayed at the house, both times I have found it to be very clean and well maintained. Good location for beach, restaurants & bars. Walking distance to town centre & beach. Plenty of free parking.
Thank look forward to coming again.
Good location for beach, bars and restaurants. Clean with everything you need, just 2 doors away from the pool!
In April 2012, three of us spent our whole week birdwatching and found Mia Casa to be perfectly situated for all the places we wanted to visit and it more than sufficed for our needs.
After a little difficulty in following the final instructions for finding it ( we drove ourselves from the airport), we were pleased to be welcomed and handed the keys. The apartment was just the right size for us and suitably furnished, all in line with what had been described. We considered it was excellent value for money and if we wanted to return to that part of Spain (which we might - we had such a good week), then we would have no hesitation in returning to Mia Casa.
I have stayed at the villa twice with my wife and have had an enjoyable holiday. The place is very friendly with lots of local places to eat and drink. The beach is close by and very clean and the Mar Menor is warm! The house and facilities are excellent, we do not hire a car as we prefer walking and the airport transfers are reasonable. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning.
I stayed at the villa last year and had a fantastic holiday. It's walking distance to the beach, reatuarants etc, with some very close by. The house and pool are very clean and exactly as described in the advert. Will definately be returning for some more relaxation and sun.
Would recommend to couples and families, with or without children.
This is a lovely Villa and well equipped and is one of the best private lets we have stayed in. We did not use the pool as we prefer to use the beach as the Mar Menor is like being in a luke warm bath. San Pedro is very Spanish with only a smattering of 'Brit Bars'. It would be prudent to learn a few words of spanish although I'm sure it would be easy to get by as the locals are very friendly. There are some very nice restaurants around and the atmosphere in the main square by the church (Ithink it is called to the Plaza de la Constitution) is really nice. It is however quite a long walk into town if you want to have a drink on the evening but we did not find this a problem.
A typically Spanish town, located at the northern end of the Mar Menor San Pedro has a weekly market which offers leather good, clothes, locally grown produce, fish, meat etc, a cultural hall, theatre, parks and main church in the square. There are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants plus local bars and children's play area close the house. Night clubs, more bars and restaurants can be found in nearby Lo Pagan. An excellent location, the property is within easy walking distance to the Mar Menor with its unspoilt 'blue flag' beaches, famous mud baths and average water temperature of 18 degrees centigrade (rising to 30 degrees in the summer) make it ideal for all. Also close to the salt lakes and regional park which offers protection to flocks of flamingos, wild life and migratory birds.
The larger town of Torrevieja is a short drive away and has many night clubs, bars, restaurants, cinemas, bowling, shops, parks, arcades, go karting, beach and a marina.
Other Activities: Boat trips, bird watching, jet skiing, cinema, bowling, health spas, parks, therapeutic mud baths
Golf: Golf is a main attraction in the area, the property is located within a 10 minute drive to 3 fantastic golf courses and 30 minutes to the famous La Manga. Details about the golf courses and how to book a round are available in the guest book or upon request.
