Welcome to our home! This is our vacation home that we bought in June 2005 and have newly renovated to provide a vacation retreat!

We are located within a 5 min.walk to the Whistler ski lifts, and close to all shopping: grocery store, liquor store, drug store, restaurants and more! Excellent Village location, convenient to everywhere and everything.

We have a fully appointed kitchen to allow you to have a complete dinner party. We have new bedding & linens, beds, sofas, hardwood floors & it has been freshly repainted. Note: the second bedroom can be arranged as a King or twin beds. Please indicate at time of booking your preference as there will be a charge for changing the bed arrangements after your arrival.

We do have a minimum age of 25 before we will rent our Condominium.

There is a damage deposit of $250 (winter) and $500 (summer) at time of check in. Guests will sign a noise/damage waiver at check in. Underground secured parking is available for a nightly fee. We have ski and bike storage (ask for the lock combination at the front desk) Please do not store skis or bikes in the condo, this is not allowed! We will charge for any damage caused by storing skis or bikes in the condo.

I live in the lower mainland with my family. My wife is a avid skiier as are my children. I'm a skier by default, but we all love the Whistler village and area. A superb getaway destination that has all nature has to offer with a urban sophisitication.

Amazing Summer Adventure in Whistler

My family and I had an amazing time at Derek's place. It was the perfect location right in the heart of the village. It comfortably fit our party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). The check-in process was super easy and the place was very clean. It was so wonderful to have a 'home-base' close by if one of us had to run the kids up for a nap or a quick bite to eat. We cooked at the condo most nights, but enjoyed the local fare during the day. We heard the occasional late night partiers outside our window (I imagine this must be way worse on the other side of the village since there wasn't really any bars on the side the condo is on), but closing our window almost completely muffled the sound. We absolutely loved our 'home away' and plan to return! Whistler is one of the coolest towns I have ever visited. There is so many local hikes and things to do! The drive from Vancouver to Whistler was stunning and we miss Whistler already! I highly recommend Derek and his hospitality!

Not for me

This property is right in the heart of the town. I enjoyed the window seat where we could watch the action outside. However, the overall cleanliness of the bathrooms and the kitchen were well below what I would have expected. However, the bathtub backed up as I showered, and the toilets had not been cleaned in a while. Some of the dishes in the cabinet still had food on them and kitchen items such as the electric hot water maker had grime all over it. I could not recommend this place for a family because of the lack of cleanliness.

Hassle Free - Great Location

We had a great experience at the Eagle Lodge. Check In was hassle free, the condo was clean, and Derek answered questions very quickly. I plan on re-booking this location next year.

Great Location

There was lots of room in the suite and it was located right on the plaza which was handy. The only heads up, is that if it is a busy weekend (which is was) it can be kind of noisy. Late night partyers kept us up a few times, but apparently that is common in Whistler, and is in no way the owners fault. It looks like they've kept it pretty much up to date. I would stay here again. It's great having a balcony and second bathroom, as well as a hide-a-bed
