Fantastic villa

  • 5 of 5

The villa is of high spec and the pool is very well maintained. The locals are friendly but you really need a car to enjoy verything the region has to offer. Overall a great holiday.

Beautiful home

  • 4 of 5

We found the home to be exactly as described and it was a very comfortable base for our holiday. It is very well appointed and is a pleasure to stay in. The pool is lovely, and having fast, reliable wifi was greatly appreciated.

Christine was very easy to deal with and answered all our messages very promptly.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with a group of 9 young British lads in a nearby property who were very loud, but this was obviously out of Christine's control.

We also had to chase up the return of our security deposit as it had not been refunded after 14 days, but this was an issue with Homeaway, not Christine.

Fabulous !

  • 5 of 5

A really great experience from enquiry to coming home. Christine provided great communication throughout and the local agent was flexible around our arrival time (we had a flight delay). The place itself is in a quiet location, tastefully decorated, with quality fittings and linens (even down to the provided pool towels). Every modern convenience you could ask for is on hand.

We spent some quiet days relaxing by the pool, and evenings dining out and enjoying the promenade in Los Alcazares. There is lots of literature about the area in handy folders - if you have a car, exploring is fun and rewarding. 10/10 Christine - thank you so much !

Lovely villa with professional booking process

  • 5 of 5

Booking was made easy and was professionally handled by Christine. The instructions and information recieved throughout the booking and arrival process were clear , concise and made the whole process run smoothly. Thank you Christine and also Lorraine from the management company who greeted us and showed us around on arrival and departure.

The villa itself was perfect. It was spacious, clean, modern and everything you could 2ant from a holiday villa. All rooms had individual air con units which ensured all rooms were cool for sleeping in, much needed in the summer months. The kitchen was well equipped and living room comfortable and had many britt ish tv channels for when we needed to escape the sun. Onto the patio, which was exceptional. With a private generous size pool, patio set, bbq and further sitting area it was a perfect place to spend the majority of our week.

the village itself was quiet but with a supermarket, bakers, pharmacy and couple of decent bars, in particular a bar/restaurant named "bridge end" which hosted the most helpful man in the village Dave, who couldn't do more to help, sorting out food in his bar, to local taxis and recommendations on places to visit.

A car would be recommended but if you are a little hesitant to drive abroad the local taxi fares are very rasonable. We done two day trips to Las Alcazarez and to Murcia, via a local taxi driver and it saved us hiring a car, both places providing enough to keep us busy for the day.

All in all the week was exactly what we were looking for. A relaxing week in the sun beside our private pool. I really cannot recommend the villa enough. It was perfect and we will definately be back. Thank you again Christine.

Lovely holiday in a lovely villa

  • 5 of 5

I booked with Christine and it all went very smoothly. The villa has 1 twin bedroom & shower room downstairs and 1 double and 1 twin with a bathroom upstairs. A lounge/diner and kitchen complete downstairs. The upstairs twin room also has a large balcony. It was all very well equipped and nicely furnished with plenty of towels including beach towels. The pool was clean and there were inflatables, snorkels etc to keep the children amused. There were sun loungers and a nice rattan set of furniture with cushions, an outside shower and a BBQ. We always ate at the outside dining table. Well maintained. Lots of English TV channels and Wi-Fi. The village has a shop and a patisserie, bars, a pharmacy, hairdresser, medical centre etc and an English bar/restaurant with Sky Sports so we went to watch a couple of football matches and had dinner there. Los Alcazares has lots of nice restaurants, including a Thai place, and a beach. We had to go to La Manga for jet-skis. There is a water-park about 30 minutes drive away. Would book again with no hesitation. Cartagena and the Ampitheatre is worth a visit.

Relaxing holiday in lovely property

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned home after 3 weeks in this lovely villa. The villa was as described in the advertisement, and the property fully lived up to our expectations. All facilities in the villa were first class, and it was clean, tidy and delicate. It is a real home away, and got everything you need.

Our booking arrangements were clearly and professional handled by the owner, Christine. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rent your beautiful and well equipped villa.

On arrival we were welcomed by Kevin, from the management company, who showed us the villa and property. He was very friendly and helpful when we contacted him a couple of times during our stay.

San Cayetano is a quite, little spanish village, and as we were traveling with 3 children, two of them teenagers, we did not spend much time in the village, but we all loved the villa and the private pool.

We rent a car, which we consider as nessesary to explore the area. We visited several beautiful beaches along the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. Calblanque, a beautiful, quiet beach in a natural park, became our favorite. It is about a 40 min. drive from San Cayetano, towards La Manga strip. Not far from Calblanque, the fish village Cabo de Palos is situated. A fresh fish meal in one of the restaurants is highly recommended.

We spent many evenings in the villa garden by the barbecue, but also tried several restaurants in Los Alcázares, Cartagena and San Pedro del Pinatar, and we were never disappointed. I can mention "Momentos", a beach bar in Los Alcázares which serves great tapas, and "Rosalind´s roof garden restaurant", also in Los Alcázares, we concider as one of the best in the area. Excellent food in romantic surroundings on the roof terrace, and very service minded staff. "Terra Mare", on the beach promenade, serve great paella. Once during our say we had a meal in San Cayetano, at the bar "Rose´n Thistle. The food was very good and the staff friendly.

If you are interested in shopping, there are many opportunities. The shopping mall "Dos Mares" is only a 10. min. drive from the villa. Another mall is "Espacio Mediterraneo", a 30 min. drive towards Cartagena. There are several "Decathlon" shops in the area, which offer sports equipment at very good prices.

All in all we had a great holiday, and we can highly recommend this property to others. We will definitely visit San Cayetano and this property again.

Hasta la vista...
