Large comfortable fully furnished equipped villa air conditioned on two levels. 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, can sleep up to 10/12.Children welcome, outdoor swimming pool,garden, patio, peaceful location, close to sea and sandy beaches, close to Moraira town. Walking distance to restaurants and shops car recommended, near golf courses, family friendly location. Suitable for two families or larger group holidaying together. Moraira is a small and growing resort offering shops, cafes, restaurants,bars. The town has retained its old charm of narrow cobbled streets to explore, a square offering shops and entertainment in the season, and newer pavement cafes with a port and marina. Around town there are promenade water fountain walkways palm tree lined. The marina is bordered by a number of cafes and offers the opportunity to feed local fish and sample catch of the day. There is a weekly Friday market. The beach is wide sandy and well maintained, the water is calm and shallow, ideal for families.

We are ideally placed for golf - the nearest, Jávea GC is less than 10 minutes away. A 9-hole course, more difficult than it looks, has superb views of Montgó dominating Jávea (Green fees approx. Euro 65).

Towards Denia (c.15 minutes) is La Sella GC, a beautiful 18-hole course. Further afield (c.35 minutes) new course at Oliva (18-holes, designed by Ballesteros) & south of Valencia, the famous 18-hole championship links course at El Saler.

Other features: The theme park Terra Mitica is within easy motoring distance (a short drive down AP7 motorway) as are the excellent Aqualandia (swim-park; website available on request) and MundoMar (dolphins) outside Benidorm.

The fabulous new Science & Oceanographic (5000 different fish) parks at Valencia make a spectacular day's outing.

  • The upstairs lounge has a three seater sofa bed, and the veranda is enclosed by glass sliding doors to the balcony, another sofa bed settee. Bedroom one has a double bed,bedside cabinets dressing table and chair and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom two has a double bed,bedside cabinets dressing table and chair and fitted mirror fronted wardrobes,and further access to the veranda and balcony.Both bedrooms here are air conditioned. Downstairs gaining access by outside steps has a twin seater sofa and a three seater sofa in the lounge.The lounge area is air conditioned off the lounge there is bedroom three containing a double bed,bedside cabinets dressing table and chair and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom four contains two single beds and fitted wardrobe, bedroom five is available for larger family groups and contains bunk beds dressing table and chair,bedroom five also contains a movable single style sofa bed. Note that there are no internal stairs.

The villa is on two levels. Upper has a large hallway leading to a fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms both with mirrored fronted built in wardrobes, bedroom 2 has a feature double connecting doors to the veranda. A separate bathroom with a large enameled bath / shower curtain rail, toilet & large hand basin. A large lounge with a matching two piece sofa suite one a sofa bed settee, in the dinning area there is a table and setting for 6 with further double doors from the lounge to the veranda and balcony, then steps outside that descend from the balcony to the terrace and to downstairs - a well equipped kitchenette, washing machine, three bedrooms one with double bed, the other twin beds, and the third containing bunk beds, the larger bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, lounge area 3 piece suite/ sofa bed, dinning area, table & setting for 6.Outdoor tables and chairs for 12, sun loungers and barbecue. Gate to garden and pool. The villa is not suited to people with impaired mobility.

Spent peaceful week enjoying property and gardens. Crystal clear pool & lush gardens. Just in time for the Moors / Christians Fiesta in Moraira mid June- well worth taking in. Ideal base for exploring the coast as well as inland. Well equipped and maintained property. Very good local amenities - beach is very clean and safe. Overall a very good location for families.

Owner's Response: Thanks for that..We have redecorated and included two brand new sofas,for this year, one being a four seater,the other a three seater bed settee both in matching cream colour.We have a fifth bedroom that is being made available with bunk beds,for larger family groups....Andrew

Comfortable and convenient

Overall we enjoyed staying at the property very much. It is in a quiet community of villas, with the immediate adjacent owners/neighbours being either Scottish or Spanish who are only there for part of the year. The swimming pool and communual gardens is actually shared between the properties although each have their own paved garden/patio. This was an ideal property for 2 families of 8 and can be configured in any way you want, with a separate upstairs and downstairs, and would even take more. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms upstairs. The walk down to the coast takes maybe 15 minutes although a car is needed really. A small supermarket is about 15 minutes walk away and a local bar is close, although we felt the food there was average at best! A few idiosyncrasies which we soon became used to. A couple of minor, minor comments which the owner and his agent immediately changed - thanks! Usually when we've been away for 14 days we're ready to come home - this time we could have stayed longer! We enjoyed ourselves and may well return sometime.

Our Stay in Holiday rental 79317

We spent a fortnight at this Holiday rental which comprised of myself,partner, children and extended family ( a total party of 10 )

The weather was great, didnt see a single white cloud for the whole fortnight. There was a nice pool, the apartments were as described, clean and roomy.

During the days we spent in town we enjoyed eating in cafe bars overlooking the marina. And we were able to burn off the calories walking around the old town.

Would highly recommend and def come again

Spring Sun

Had a great 2 weeks of sunshine and exploring this area again. Great Villa set in lovely gardens - pool warmed up nicely. Villa was nice and clean - accommodated 2 families (10 with kids) easily including being able to eat outside every day! Lampola beach was lovely - seas a bit cool in May but sunshine was just what we needed. Would like to visit for the June Fiesta and celebrations which are coming up. Would go again!

A great family holiday

In August 2009 Our family party of four adults and six children including teenagers returned to Moriara, an enchanting little town with a lovely beach, beautiful coastline and a mountainous backdrop. We have been before to Moraira,and we were delighted to be re-visiting Casa Marianka, a property set up on the hillside past the vinyards from Moriara centre. It is a real Spanish-style property set in quiet area with a pool and the villa well appointed and maintained.The upper level has the added benefit of a balcony leading from a sun lounge room, which gave us sun from early morning and into the evening.The property was clean and tidy with plenty of clean linen,towels.We paticularly enjoyed eating out on the patio most days under the shade of the large oliander and bouganvilia,and the bar-b-q's we had there were great.The owner was most helpful and supplied detailed directions/maps on how to find Casa Marianka. Moriara itself, has an excellent Local Market each Friday.The local shops and night market offer a really excellent choice of quality clothes, gifts and keepsakes,and less than a mile from the centre, there is a delightful bay-El Portet-which is a beautiful sheltered cove and beach... to the left of the marina. Well worth a visit! Also worth a visit are Altea,Denia and the amazing El Gaudelest,a fortified village high up in the mountains with breathtaking views from the top! We found the Costa Blanca a great area to explore and with plenty of places to eat (look for 'Menu del Dia', great value meals including wine!)  Moraira itself is as you would want a seaside town to be, great beaches, clean streets, with a good variety of shops and restaurants. In short a great location for families and friends,we certainly look forward to future visits. The whole two weeks went smoothly, and everyone agreed it was great one of the best holidays ever.

summer holiday stay

I went out to stay in your villa a few summers ago with a group of friends for what was truely a fun and relaxing holiday. The villa was comfortable and spacious, we all felt very at home and safe, with enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. The place was well kept and in great condition. The pool was great and we all enjoyed the freedom of using it when ever we liked. We went without a car but didnt find this to be a problem at all, the beach is only a 20min strole and taxis are really cheap. The local area is full of lots of good places to eat and some great beach spots. I would definately concider holidaying there again.

Moraira, Javea, Moraira and Denia Moraira area, Alicante-Costa Blanca, Spain.

Moraira has a wonderful marina, lovely sandy beaches and coves, 1hour drive from Alicante/Valencia airport. It retains the heart of its origin in the old town buildings and still maintains a fishing fleet. Around the town vineyards still produce large quantities of grape. The restaurants cater for every nationality with value ' Menus del Dia' to the expensive and exotic. There is a large range of of indoor and outside bars, many with entertainment. Golf is big and on the doorstep, fishing, horse riding, water skiing, tennis, para sailing, scuba diving and a go-kart track.
