All my properties have been remodeled with the intent of creating a dwelling that is in sync with the feeling of Old Hawaii I experienced as a child. I want my guests to feel serene and part of the community during their stay in my property.
I have rented and stayed in this unit many times and agree with all the 5 Star reviews. The unit is exactly as the pictures and it is freshly painted with either new furniture or impeccably quality furniture that is perfectly maintained. I noted recent review stating the bed is uncomfortable and I have had a completely different experience and find it very comfortable. I am a repeat customer and Cherise and Hedy have responded to my every need and both have outrageous customer service skills and follow up. Staying in this unit is one of the highlights of all my travel experiences.

Clean as a whistle, nicely decorated and refreshed. Small casual low key complex. Very comfortable bed and smart TV's. The entire property has undergone upgrades such as new elevator, lanai railings, etc. Beautiful sunsets and ocean sounds. We walked every night to three of the best eateries in town (Honu, Mala and Fieda). Relaxing and well maintained. Hedy and Tom are very responsive. Cannot go wrong here. If you prefer big box hotel rather than a local experience this is not for you. We love the feeling of community and being part of the Lahaina scene.
I was very impressed by how useful the room was, it was well equipped with coolers, chairs, pool toys. I loved the view it was an amazing view every morning. Everything was very clean and tidy nothing out of place if you stay here you will enjoy yourself very much.
We had a great stay at 403 Lahaina Roads. The outlook is fantastic, the décor fresh, new & modern and all the little things you need are there. We like being close to shops and a good choice of pubs and eateries and this caters very well here. There are 3-4 good eateries within 5 mins walk and Aloha Mixed Pate (one of them) has the cheapest/longest happy hour I've ever come across! It is a bit too far to walk into Lahaina in the heat, but only $6-7 in a taxi or Uber.
It's fair to point out that there is not really any decent beaches in walking distance and swimming off the front of the property is ill advised unless a very capable swimmer/snorkeler. We opted for a 5 min drive to the beach parks along Kanapali strip where the sand and sea is world class. The other point to note is that there is no aircon. We are fine with this (and actually generally don't like using aircon) but during our stay it was very warm indeed and after 8 nights were dreaming of a cooler temperature. First world problems :-). You do get a bit of traffic noise at night too, with the bedroom orientated in that direction.
That said, we recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again. There appears to be limited options for quality, ocean-side accommodation close to the action of Lahaina and this apartment is a good choice in that regard. We spoke to many fellow tourists who were regretting not staying closer to town, as night-time dining and entertainment on the Kanapali resort strip was predictable and uninspiring - not the case in Lahaina!
This condo has many great features. It is very close to the main drag in Lahaina (a 20 minute walk down Front St or a quick drive), it is right on the water and have a gorgeous view, it includes parking and a pool, and it's well furnished with a nice balcony.
There are also several elements that took away from our stay. It is hot - no AC and the windows face the afternoon sun. It is loud - because you have to have the windows open for air the waves thunder in all night, plus the wall behind the headboard is paper thin and faces the street which is busy all night long.
My wife and I enjoyed being in Lahaina and the convenience of this condo but we also didn't sleep very well due to the heat and noise.
Once inside the condo it is if you stepped into a luxury yacht. Hedy was wonderful to work with.
We stayed in Maui for our anniversary from May 7th through the 14th, 2016. We really appreciated the communication from Hedy prior to our arrival and her responsiveness to our questions. The condo was on the north side of Lahania, on Front Street. For our purposes, it was a great location for all our activities - beach time, golfing, shopping and eating. The condo itself was fabulous. The ocean views from the kitchen and living room surpassed our expectations. Truly the views were unobstructed. The sunsets were glorious. We used the patio table and area for breakfast. The decor was soothing, the condo clean and had all the amenities we needed. We utilized the snorkel gear, the boogie board and the cooler, which were thoughtfully in the condo for use. The washer and dryer allowed us to pack lightly. All the appliances worked great. The Wifi had a strong signal. The booklet with the restaurant information was invaluable - we concur that Mala is a great restaurant. It was quiet, which was great for sleep. We would highly recommend this condo. We had a wonderful time, with great accommodations and made lots of memories. Greg and Young.
