Our group of 10 was very comfortable at Nancys clean beautiful ranch. Beds and linens were cozy. Kitchen was very well stocked. Our group cooked all of our meals there. Pool was sparkling clean. Bring extra carrots and apples for when you stroll down the path to visit the horses. You will see much wildlife while enjoying all of the beautiful plants and seating areas outside. Nancy is always a text away if any issues arise. We all had a wonderful 3 night stay!
Family get together
We enjoyed this interesting, large home with huge great room and nice size kitchen for large family (15 people) get together. Patio and pool area also perfect for family fun. July heat was miserable and AC could have been better especially in bedrooms for sleeping. Abundance of wildlife to watch and horses were sweet. The cleanliness of the house could be improved but overall it was a positive experience despite the heat. Nancy was a wonderful host and gave us our privacy but was available for questions.
Family reunion for grandma 88 b-day!
The house has plenty of room to host a family getaway! The pool and the front area of the house is very spacious with plenty of seating and resting available. Also parking will not be an issue! Downsides the AC not the best in some rooms and the fancy electric stove was not a hit with my old fashion family. Overall we would consider this unique spacious property again! Nancy was very responsive, caring, and went above and beyond to assured this experience would be one to remember!! It did help that she stays in a small unit within walking distance from the house.
Fantastic family vacation
We truly enjoyed our family vacation at the ranch!! Thanks for everything Nancy!!
Perfect Tucson Getaway!
Booking the Wild Purple Ranch for my son’s graduation from U of A was the best thing I did! Since we don’t live in Tucson and several family members were joining us, it was perfect having Nancy’s place to stay. There was room for everyone to sleep and stretch out. We were able to bbq dinners and make lunches without having to worry about booking a restaurant on such a busy weekend.
The ranch is beautiful. You feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere, when you are actually only about 25 minutes from the campus. We took several walks through the 10 acres. The view from the veranda and the upper deck is stunning. We saw the most incredible sunsets!
The house is so unique. It’s rustic with a beautiful Southwest flavor, complete with Saltillo tile and Mexican tile sinks. There are the antiques everywhere. At the same time it was very clean and comfortable.
Nancy was a great hostess. She was very helpful and accommodating.
We can’t wait to go back!
Thanks again for staying..You and your family are super lovely..welcome back anytime..
I look forward to seeing you again..all the best..Nancy
Family Reunion at A Wild Purple Ranch
We planned a small family weekend reunion and looked for a private setting that would accommodate our group that ended up at 20. We could not have found a better place!
Half of our group overnighted at a nearby hotel but all of us spent the days and evenings at this wonderful ranch. The house and grounds are beautiful and eclectic with tons of common areas for visiting and swimming, cards and games. The kitchen facilities were perfect as we wanted not to go out but prepare our own meals.
Thank you Nancy, you are a beautiful and gracious hostess/owner! We will return!
Thank you so much Shirley...Loved your family and most seemed to walk the grounds and loved it...that makes my heart sing... You are always welcome back...many blessings.. Nancy
