This two-story townhouse is located within Kuilima Estates West, a gated community of condominiums adjacent to Turtle Bay Resort (the only resort/hotel on the North Shore of Oahu). Those familiar with this area already know of its breathtaking beauty and relaxed atmosphere. Newcomers will find the North Shore to be an unassuming, quiet, stunning, natural landscape that is quite a departure from the more densely-populated commercial centers of Honolulu/Waikiki.
Within a short/scenic walk of this townhouse, you’ll find immaculately-maintained amenities for Kuilima--pools, tennis, and walking trails. At the Turtle Bay Resort you will find numerous restaurants/bars (indoor and outdoor), live entertainment, pools, hot tubs, beaches for snorkeling/surfing, riding stables, tennis, walking/running trails, two championship golf courses, a spa, and more. Please check with the Resort directly for use of their amenities and fees. The beach is public and open to everyone.
You'll be within a brief drive to additional gorgeous beaches (some of which you’ll have all to yourself at times), to include Waimea Bay and Bonzai Pipeline. You'll be within a 20 minute drive to the town of Hale'iwa (filled with charming shops and restaurants), and a 45 minute drive to Honolulu (filled with almost everything else you could need/want).
This townhouse is located on the George Fazio Championship Golf Course. The glassed, vaulted great room opens to a lanai and the fairway of the 3rd hole, with a gorgeous panoramic view of lush mountains behind it. The first floor of the townhouse contains the great room, a kitchen, a full bathroom, and one of two dedicated bedrooms. The second floor contains the second dedicated bedroom, a second full bathroom, and a loft (which can be used to sleep two additional people, a baby/toddler, etc.).
The townhouse has a very open, clean, coastal feel. The bedrooms and loft are carpeted. Each bathroom is floored in marble tile. The remainder of the townhouse (the kitchen, great room and hallway) has bamboo hardwood floors. The townhouse contains two AC units in the bedrooms(though AC is rarely needed), as well as ceiling fans throughout. A dedicated parking space is located by the front entrance.
Kitchen amenities include a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and all items necessary for cooking/dining/entertaining. A private condo pool (50 feet from the front door) contains an additional outdoor grilling center. Laundry amenities (a washer/dryer and ironing board/iron) are located on the first floor. The bedrooms/bathrooms have fresh linens upon your arrival. Beach amenities—to include beach chairs with back straps, beach towels, bamboo mats, and a beach cooler—are provided.
For your in-home entertainment, you'll find cable TVs, DVD players, a DVD library, books, stereo/CD players, and board/card games. Other amenities (telephones, a First Aid kit, a fire extinguisher, etc.) are available. There is unlimited long distance calling to the United States and Canada. A local property manager is nearby.
If you're choosing to discover the North Shore, renting a condo is a wonderful decision. For the length of your stay, you'll feel as if you're part of an exclusive (and at the same time inclusive) true community. In a townhouse, you can choose to be alone or around others. You can dine out 'resort-style' or cook a quiet meal in your own space. You can pack up for the beach in the morning, and return to a 'home' at night. We've truly found this condo to be an ideal 'home base' during our stays on the island.
We hope to hear from you...but wherever you end up staying, we hope that the North Shore leaves you feeling as 'alive' as it does us. Aloha and Mahalo~

In the Turtle Bay Resort.
Stayed here with my husband and 5 kiddos. We had a great time. Perfect North Shore location. The place was clean, friendly neighbors and so close to the pool.
This condo complex on the Turtle Bay resort grounds is lovely and convenient to all that the North Shore offers. This condo, however, needs some attention to be a truly welcoming spot to vacation. First, we emailed a question prior to arrival to the owner and received no response.
(They had emailed us regarding arrival time and we gave them the courtesy of a response). Our paperwork indicated that we could get the key at 3pm and after several trips and conversation with neighbors, the owner arrived at 4:30 (she forgot).
The following are things that took away from our stay..the TV was nearly impossible to work,
and we finally just gave up. (the upstairs TV did not get cable, only fuzzy local stations). The
screen door to the 'patio' ( only wide enough for a single chaise lounge so basically, unusable) fell off whenever we tried to open it. Air conditioning only in the bedrooms and very loud. Towel and sheets of the very poorest quality. Not a single place in the condo, other than in bed, where there is a lamp or light sufficient to read. Only 1 key for the condo and pool area ( as we were 2 couples this was inconvenient so we had an additional key made). Lastly, I realize that 'clean' means different things to different people BUT if you are renting your property guests should expect the highest level of clean. I dropped a book and when I retrieved it under the bed I also collected the trash. (this made the fact that we were instructed to leave $150 cash for cleaning an irritation). Normally, we would clean out the frig, throw towels in the washer, pull sheets etc. We did not. My husband also suggests that the owners take a few moments and some Elmers and reglue the wallpaper where it is coming off the wall at the seams. Lovely complex and in talking to our neighbors, we will consider staying there again - just not here.
Once we were made aware of Turtle Bay Resort rules everything went smoothly.
So glad that we stayed here, Waikiki & anything to do in south Oahu (Pearl Harbor, Hanauma beach, shopping etc) is only an hour or so away and here there is no hustle / bustle. You have to try the zip line close by its great! The condo was quiet at night the 2 weeks we stayed and had zero issues with bugs or any of the nuisances I saw in reviews for other condos. The owner was very accommodating & the only thing I would even mention is that the family / dining room gets a little warm & humid especially when using the dryer as the A/C units are in the bedrooms, but hey if you're going to be gone all day anyway that's where you want the A/C right?? I'd certainly stay here again & would recommend it to anyone visiting the island.
The townhouse was a Great Place to stay. The directions were easy to find and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this place to anyone staying on the north shore.very very nice
Our family spent Christmas at Turtle Bay - the condo was a perfect base for our holiday. We enjoyed the golf, trail rides and beach at the nearby resort. We would highly recommend for families and Cam was great to deal with.
