About Rosemary Phillips
Ray and I retired and moved to Lubec in 2005. In our previous lives, I was an owner-operator of 4 daycare centers and my husband was a real estate investor, following his retirement from the navy. We purchased this beautiful oceanfront property and built a carriage house for ourselves and built a cottage in 2015 for friends, family and vacation seekers to enjoy. We invite you to come and stay at Eagles Rest, deemed to be that most beautiful location in Lubec. Regards, Rosemary Phillips

Amazing home in a spectacular setting
This is our third stay at this incredibly beautiful property. It feels like home. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and everything clean and so tastefully done. Property owners are so helpful and delightful people. Love it all!
What a Place!!
Everything you think you are renting and SO MUCH more!! Absolutely fabulous. Beautiful sunrises. Saw several seals sunning on the rocks. Close to Lubec. Highly recommend!!
This house is amazing! If you want to relax and enjoy some beautiful views, this is the place. Really did not want to leave. Very clean and everything you would want to make your stay unforgettable.
Staying at this property exceeded all of our expectations. It was a piece of heaven!!!
The views were incredible. The house is meticulously maintained. Rosemary and Ray were most gracious hosts. If we could give more than 5 stars we definitely would.
We have spent a lot of time in Maine over the years but this was by far the best place to spend our vacation. Hopefully we will get back there next summer for 1 or maybe even 2 weeks.
This comfortable House was built in 2015 to provide maximum comfort and maximum unobstructed ocean viewing. It is the perfect location to relax in comfort while exploring the beauty of Washington County.
Eagle's Nest Soars!
Eagle's Rest is the perfect retreat for anyone seeking the comfort, quiet, and solitude offered by a home near the sea. I use the word home here instead of cabin because from the first moment we entered, we felt completely at ease. The openness of the layout and the many windows fill the space with light. The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, as we do. We sat on the deck in the morning for breakfast so we could listen to the tide and smell the ocean breeze. We delighted in watching the seals, sunbathing on the rocks. The scope in the living room provided amazing views of birds and seals. On our first day we were greeted by two eagles. In the evening we gathered around the dining room table and then took advantage of the two very comfortable sitting areas to read or watch television. The fireplace was a great way to warm up those chilly nights. The bedrooms were also very comfortable; we appreciated the fine quality of the mattresses and the bedding. The photographs used for the listing are very accurate. The whole cabin is amazing, from the soaring ceilings to the hardwood floors to the stunning tile work in the bathrooms, to the shining granite counters and stainless steel appliances--this home is luxurious! If you enjoy gardening (or you just like looking at flowers) you will be impressed with the care Rosemary has invested in her gardens. Speaking of Rosemary, the owners of this amazing property are so friendly and helpful. Rosemary and Ray couldn't have been more accomodating. Leaving Eagle's Rest was so difficult. The ride back to New Jersey was long and sad. We have rented homes along the East coast many times, including some large properties in the Outer Banks, but nothing compares to Eagle's Rest. We will never forget our week there and hope one day to return.
