This Ocean Front Condo is a designer condo that gets special treatment every year - it just keeps getting better and better. This condo is different than most. You will be very impressed. My unit is on the third floor. You have a beautiful unobstructed view of the ocean and the beach. The out side chares are very special- not the cheep plastic chares that everybody else has. I paid $700.00 per chair. You will feel like a king and queen sitting on these chares in this very special condo. Also, this unit has wall-to-wall mirrors. It makes the place look bigger and you have moor views of the ocean.
The Carousel hotel is next door to this property. The world famous Carousel has many amenities that you can use including the Ice Rink and there restaurants and bars ect. (wifi from Condo Building credit card required

Hi, My name is Mark McCleskey and I am a vacation condo owner junkie--- I just did not know when to quit... I now own 14 properties all over the world. 9 are condos that are vacation condos. I think of them as my own personal homes that I also rent out... sooooo when you stay at one my signature designer vacation condos you can be sure that they are special in every way. If you dont know this yet its good to know. Most people treat there vacation condos as a business and only upgrade or fix when its way to late if at all. Why Owner chose Ocean City
This is the 1st Property I bought. It is where I spent my summers from 1971 to 1976 on the Ocean City Beach Patrol. My heart is here. I bought this condo at Ocean Walk Condominium because it is a Low rise not a high rise. The building is only 5 stories high. So you can get into and out of this condo complex with great ease. As compared to the high rise condominium. At check in and out you will noltice the difference… At the high rise condominiums there is a bottle neck and waiting for elevators. Also this complex is very well maintained by the board.
What makes this Condo unique
The benefits of this condo is that it is next to the Carousel Hotel. You can walk next door and use most all of there facilities… but not the pool. They have a ice skating rink arcade, big spaces for kids to run around while you are having a drink and or Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner… they have live music playing out side at there out side bar… also, in front of our condo is a great beach not that crowed. This unit is on the 3rd floor so you are positioned just right for your view.

Location is great. View could not be beaten. Couldn't get the tv in the living room to work but I suppose that was operator error? Don't know if they had wifi there as well. No big deal though, we absolutely loved it.

Easy peasy but NOT BRAND NEW
Elevator building on the sand with an ocean front location on the third floor. Amazing sunrises from our balcony. New mattress was very comfy. Second bathroom was great to have. Some minor maintenance things like replacing toaster and outlet cover and cleaning balcony. Many typos in description was hard to understand and is not new.
Thank you for your review. The wall out let is now fixed and the toster will be replaced when I return to my condo.
Great location and view, but dirty and too much deferred maintenance
As I told the owner, you only get one chance for a first impression and ours was not good. Upon arrival we found a very dirty unit that had clearly not been cleaned. We had to wait 2.5 hours on the balcony for the cleaning service to show up. After a quick cleanup, we found the condo still had filthy carpets, mold on the a/c, bedding that hadn't been washed in a very long time, and dirty extra pillows on the floor of the closet. Then I killed two roaches in the kitchen. I give the owner credit for quickly responding to refund the cleaning fee I had paid, have the carpets cleaned (they are sill badly stained), the bedding cleaned, and the kitchen sprayed for bugs. The mold on the A/C was never cleaned, but thankfully the weather was cool enough that we did not use it much. As the week went on we found other maintenance and cleaning issues, such as the rusting coffee pot, the filthy garbage can, and piles of dust and dirt under the bed. This unit needs much more than a quick weekly surface cleaning. Although the listing says it is 'brand new', it is not. At a minimum it needs to have the carpets removed and replaced with tile or laminate, it needs a deep cleaning of every nook and cranny, and it needs much better weekly cleaning and maintenance performed. It could also use a coat of paint and furnishings from this century. I will not be returning as there are much better and much cleaner options available.

let me go one by one with my response. The carpet is 3 years old. the furniture and paint job are 2 years old. it is only lived in 4 months of the year. I received his phone call and with in one minute began fixing all his complaints. by the way the ones listed below are the only ones he he told me about. So if there were more he should have called me on those. its important to know that all condo owners that have good condos like mine rent them all summer long and that we get 5 hours in between guest to clean and fix things. I was aware that the carpet was stained because the guest the week before called me to report it. I asked if she would let me clean it but she said all was fine so i did not get a chance to clean it. i will say this that this guest did give me a chance to clean it and i have not heard from this weeks guest so i can only guess they are happy with the unit.

Per our phone call with the cleaning manager.
1. They will clean the Carpert today or tomorrow. They will call you to set up the time. Should only take 1 hour or so.
2. They will get the Bed cover and Shams and have them professionally cleaned.
3 mold on the A/C units will be cleaned
4. Roaches in the kitchen will be sprayed

As I stated in Ocean City with the condos that rent week to week with only 5 hours to Prepare for the next guest sometimes we have these issues. Thank you for letting me fix this.
Also I will credit you back your cleaning fee because the unit was not cleaned on a timely bases.

Condo is beautiful and in a great location.
My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful stay. The view off the balcony was our favorite part, one evening we even saw dolphins swimming. I hope to return back to the same condo one day, it had just about everything we needed for our weeks trip. Only downside was having to find a pool a couple blocks down, but the perfect weather made for many convenient beach days so it wasn't much of a problem. Had a fun night out to dinner at Parched Parrot, walking the boardwalk another night, and just cooking in the rest. Great getaway for two!

It woukd be nice if Oceanwalk provided WIFI to its customers free of charge as some of the other condos facilities do. hjwevsr, its always a pleSure staying there and Marks condo is very nice and upgraded!
