I have lived in Albury/Wodonga since 1996. I am a Mum to three girls and a proud Nan to my gorgeous three year old Grandson. I live just out of Wodonga on 5 acres with my Hubby, two of our girls, a Golden Retriever, a Kelpie and numerous chickens and ducks. We built Lysterfield BNB back in 2012 and it has been tenanted ever since. I have always thought about hosting a BNB so this year I decided to take the plunge and go for it! I am very proud of the house, it is lovely and open and it is a house I would be happy staying in myself. I want my guests to feel at home in Lysterfield and I aim to provide a safe and secure place for my guests that are travelling to the North East.

The property is in a great location. It is in a quiet, respectable neighbourhood just around the corner from Bandiana link which takes you straight to the Hume Freeway. and across the border to Albury. Bunnings, KFC, McDonalds and the Homemaker Centre are located just across the road. Woolworths and Aldi are close by and it is only 2.6km to the Main Street of Wodonga where you will find Junction Square, Coles and Kmart. For people travelling to Melbourne or Sydney or Vice Versa it is a great spot to stop for the night. For guests who are here for a holiday or to visit family, Wodonga is a beautiful place to explore. Located on the Border of Victoria and NSW we have the Mighty Murray river where you will find beautiful parks and playgrounds, great walking and cycling paths excellent shopping facilities, great Restaurants and Cafes, so many Parks and Playgrounds ,fantastic scenery from the mighty Murray River to the Snowfields nearby. Gorgeous little towns like Yackandandah, Beechworth, Bright, Mt Beauty ,Rutherglen, Chiltern and all of the Wineries in the Region make for a wine lovers paradise
What makes this House unique
I am really proud of Lysterfield BNB , I prefer to stay in a home rather than a hotel room and have booked accommodation through Stayz for many years now. My family has always preferred to have our own cooking facilities and a couple of bedrooms and a little backyard where possible. We also love to take our dogs Amber and Paddie on Family trips so that is why I allow dogs at the house. The backyard is very private and secure and you can go out for the day and not have to worry about your Pup getting out of the yard.

House was wonderful, need to go on more holidays to enjoy it more often.

I can praise this property more highly. It was pristine, comfy and had everything to make our stay so easy from breakfast supplies in the fridge and pantry to wifi . Just too easy and set the standard for the rest of our stays.

The house was beautifully presented and a delight to stay in. A lovely array of stores in the pantry made us feel at home. The master bedroom was
beautifully presented and spacious. The outdoor area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying our breakfast.
We arrived feeling exhausted and jaded, we left feeling refreshed and happy.
I would definitely stay here again if I am travelling in the area.

This is a very nice place to stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Well equipped with everything you need as well as a capsule coffee machine which was a bonus. Also very grateful that our dogs could stay and were welcome. Great host with attention to details. Good location and quiet.
This property is absolutely lovely! Easy to find off the Hume Hwy, double garage for parking and unloading, spacious accommodation with bedrooms 2 & 3, plus family bathroom and laundry down one side of the house which can be shut off if, like us, you did not need to use it. Cute enclosed garden with BBQ and clothes line. Private, quiet, modern, immaculately presented inside with white fluffy towels, electric blankets on the beds etc! Just perfect! We would always stay here now when driving between MEL & SYD.
