The beautiful old house has wood-paneled throughout and furnishings very pleasant decorated with original old (farmers). Manifold accessories (old toys, original images) and well-filled bookshelves, which leave no reader request, giving it a very distinctive, unique charm. To interfere with the not (zer), there are no ugly shower cabins in the rooms, only sink and otherwise 3 well appointed bathrooms. In my house you will find: peace, space, exquisite furnishings, unique atmosphere!

What you will not find: Bathrooms in the rooms, technical gadgets of all kinds, functional technology of the 21 (s o..). Century (TV, phone, fax, etc. in every room) .As a tribute to the modern times, there are of course free WiFi and a large flat screen with DVD player!

The landline phone is for incoming calls available (for outgoing blocked). Cheap: Call by call from Deutschl.

Facilities: Ground floor: 3 rooms, two Doppelzi, a 3-bed room, (room with washbasin) kl.... Kitchen, bath / toilet, washing machine.

1st floor: 2 Doppelzi. (Zi. With sink), Wohnzi. with fireplace, central well equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave etc.), bathroom (with bath), gr. wraparound balcony

Upper floor: 2 small. Double room, beautiful in the middle of large living room with (double) bed (1.40m), kitchen / Esszeile, Bath / toilet

On the intermediate poles:

btw. EC and. 1 Stock: called. Schopf (gr. Storeroom: barbecue, garden furniture, vacuum cleaners and household appliances of all kinds, cleaning supplies, pantry, etc.), exit to the lower terrace (garden, table tennis), separate toilet

more details or Notes: In the BP gas station about 200m away almost every forgotten foods can depending on the season to 20:00 respectively. 21:00 rebuy. Special recommendation: order the number of rolls for breakfast the night before, - are baked right on time!

Best restaurant for miles around (two 'hoods' in the rest.-führern!): Hotel Adler in St. G.

Solid Austrian. Kitchen with my friend and neighbor Ewald Tschanhenz from the hotel Vermala (50m), which is an expert in matters Paragliding: more time European champion! In addition, Mayor of St. G. and the surrounding communities and access authorized to the best blueberry brandy from western Austria! In the season has opened his bar until the last go (very cozy!)

Personal recommendation: Everything that has to do with sports (equipment): Harry (opposite the Hotel Adler, s o..) is the best! Quality, price, service, - for many years he gets from my guests (and me!) Top marks!

One last comment: I urge you to understand that both at check-in as at check-out a mandatory building inspection with my property manager Giovanni takes place, which is my right hand on site. He has any authority to regulate any damage with those responsible in my mind. Completely excluded is a departure without consensual contact with him, be it ever justified as early or with any emergencies!

Please note that before 16:00 is no partial reference of the house or the room possible: my house people need during the 5 hours free course for final cleaning.. Possibly Visitors arriving early can leave their luggage of course in the garage.

Three times Axel's house

This was our third stay in Axel's house and we all were fully satisfied. The house has it's soul and spending "apres ski" time is as pleasent as skiing itself.

Nice, big rooms , each one with own character, plenty of books (owner is an exhibitor) simply magic. I recommend for group of friends , families (grandparents and grandchildreen incl.)

If you come to this house you will fall in love with it. Besides there are beautifull surroudings and perfect ski arena with many ski routs for skilled and beginners.

Liebe Axel und Giovanni

Wir haben mit Freunden Ski- und Snowboard Urlaub gehabt. Montafon ist ein schön Gebiet. Wir haben das Haus von Axel eine Woche gemietet. Axel ist Hausbesitzer und Giovanni organisiert alles wass du braucht. Es war sehr gut! Wir danken Axel und Giovanni und kommen zurück in 2018. Lieber gehen wir auch in Februar 2017 aber die Woche ist nicht mehr frei.

Herrlicher Skiurlaub im Museums-Haus

Wir haben mit 3 Familien und insgesamt 15 Personen einen einwöchigen Skiurlaub in dem Haus verbracht. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war vollkommen problemlos. Das Haus hat mit seinen holzvertäfelten Räumen und vielen, vielen Bücherregalen einen fast musealen Charakter, trotzdem war der Zuschnitt auch passend für 3 Familien (genügend 2-Bett-Zimmer und ausreichend sanitäre Anlagen), so dass nach einem langen Skitag alle schnell durch die Duschen geschleust werden konnten (ausreichend warmes Wasser für alle). Günstige Lage zur Garfreschabahn ins Skigebiet Silvretta (zu Fuß noch machbar, wir bevorzugten das Auto). Die Ausstattung der Küche war ebenfalls auf große Gruppen ausgelegt. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Skiurlaub in herrlichem Ambiente, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, rechtzeitig buchen, zumindest in der Hauptsaison.

Rundum wohl gefühlt

Spontan gebucht und überwältigt von der unkomplizierten Grosszügigkeit und Offenheit des Vermieters. Mit soviel Vertrauensvorschuss wird man nicht allzu oft empfangen. Wir waren zu 12., drei Familien und haben die wunderschöne Einrichtung, die sehr gute Zimmereinteilung mit Rückzugsmöglichkeiten genossen. Das Haus ist so gemütlich, dass der Regen und das graue Wetter in keinster Weise zu Stimmungsabbruch führt. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort durch Giovanni ist einfach perfekt. Das Haus, dessen Geist und die Vermietungsphilosophie sind rundum empfehlenswert. Danke Herr Hundsdörfer für diesen schönen Ort! Wir kommen wieder.

Wohnen bei Freunden

Das Haus ist bezaubernd! Man kommt sich vor, als wäre man bei einem guten Freund zu Besuch, der kurz weg ist, und einem schon mal den Schlüssel gegeben hat. Wir haben uns richtig über den einen Regentag gefreut, an dem wir zuhause bleiben und lesen, spielen und ausruhen konnten. Dabei gibt es schöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Das Haus hat Atmosphäre

Ein rundum empfehlenswertes Haus für größere Gruppen. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen (plus Hund) im Haus und waren erneut begeistert. Schon von außen wirkt es urgemütlich, was sich innen bestätigt. Die ganze Einrichtung und die vielen im gesamten Haus verteilten Bücher geben ihm eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Es ist ruhig aber verkehrsgünstig gelegen und man man aus den meisten Räumen einen schönen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge.

Wandertouren sind von Haus aus möglich. Außerdem lassen sich nach kurzer Anfahrt zahlreiche Seilbahnen oder die Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße erreichen, die einen Tourbeginn in größerer Hohe zulassen.

Angenehm ist auch die Möglichkeit, am Haus zu grillen. Man sitzt auf einer urigen Bankgarnitur und kann den Abend nach einer Bergwanderung gemütlich ausklingen lassen.

The house is surrounded by meadows, in a loose scattered settlement on the slightly raised Montafon valley floor of the north side, half-way between St. Gallenkirch and Gortipohl and the village.

The valley station of the chairlift Garfrescha (the oldest of three tributaries to the huge Silvretta Nova) located in a gentle downward slope about 350m away (with good snow conditions ski from the house and directly go to the valley station!). The two fast gondolas St. Gallenkirch or Gaschurn are about 2km or 3km (few Minunten by car). To Hochjochbahn in Schruns and Golm Bahn in Tschagguns by car about 10 minutes (from Dec. 2011 new gondola to Hochjochmassiv from the valley St. Gallenkirch, skiers can then the two most attractive resorts of the Montafon in a day car lot combine). During the season, run quickly shuttle buses btw. The div. Valley. Great fun, especially for children: during the ski season is the Garfrescha lift several times a week until 22:00 for tobogganing (sled in the house) in operation, to a complete departure from the Garfrescha mountain station is illuminated to the valley (beautiful sight from the balcony of the house!)Attention skiers: a few minutes to groomed on the valley floor, many kilometers long trail! The mountain panorama in all directions beautifully and with the almost 3000m high Vallüla that forms the dramatic valley head to the east, particularly impressive. For non-skiers there since doorstep plenty of opportunities for walking, z. B. to a waterfall (about 20min), which forms fairytale ice sculptures on cold days and fabulous photo opportunity, on the valley floor of the river Ill along a Wildschweingehege, via the so-called meadow to St. Gallenkirch, - it is not boring! In the car you are in a quarter of an hour on the Bartholomäberg high above the main village Schruns (best shopping opportunities - Hemingway fell in love with the twenties in the pretty town and skifahrend and write whole months spent there!). On sunny days the Bartholomäberg, with its flat roads and the longest hours of sunshine throughout the Montafon offers ideal for easy walks, breathtaking views of the widely spread valley and the opposite rocky massifs of Rätikon or Hochjoch. After a nice walk you hold then stop at the historic inn 'mill' and can be an original Montafoner barley soup taste (supposedly the best in the valley ...). Or the homemade apple pie, no less famous! In winter only accessible by train from Partenen the Bielerhöhe (Silvretta Lake) because the Silvretta High Alpine Road is closed (highly recommended, even the ride is exciting: after a trip on the gondola's go with a special minibus for minutes at a rapid drive through an extremely narrow tunnel before you can go back at the bottom of the reservoirs into the open air - care with a tendency to claustrophobia) Now for the summer: a whole (migrant) life will not be enough to exploit the wealth of opportunities, which alone provides the Montafon, from the neighboring valleys (Klostertal, Paznauntal, Great Walser Valley) and other landscape or urban highlights to mention (the close Bodensee -. eg Tags Bregenz Festival, Island City Lindau--, the near Arlberg and behind quickly achievable Innsbruck, the location just behind Feldkirch Principality of Liechtenstein, with its unique art museum, the beautiful, historic Feldkirch with its typical colonnades etc. pp.). The ultimate goal of all well-toned and crush resistant migratory birds is of course always the nearby Piz Buin, where veritable here mountaineering comes into play, not least vast stocks of sunscreen same name belong to the backpack! Large selection of swimming pools the premium class in the immediate vicinity (eg. B. 'Mountain Beach Gaschurn', with slides, pools, beach volleyball court, etc.). Magnificent mountain lakes in the high valleys on every side! On hot days, a veritable balm: the circular basin eroded the already mentioned, 20min distant waterfall. Whom it is tiresome to. After extensive sunbathing in the garden or on the div to seek terraces and balconies to refreshment purposes there, failing that, take the garden hose on hand (Pool plans wg. unfavorable topographic conditions for the time being on ice).

  • All rooms except one (first floor, directly across from the bathroom) equipped with sink with hot and cold water. On the intermediate poles there are two separate toilets. Kitchens rarely used in the EC and upstairs are adequate, the central kitchen on the 1st floor, however, is equipped üppigst (comes from the fact that the house is almost exclusively populated by groups who appreciate family meals value). For the vast majority of my longtime guests with its almost five hundred years old table the central kitchen is the center of sociability. Particularly pleasant: the adjoining balcony, if not rule extreme low temperatures, ideal deposits or Storage place for food.

A collapsible aluminum table tennis is on the rear paved terrace (rackets, balls in the shed next door). In each room / living room there is a large variety of books for every taste and every age, - please Reset before leaving the shelves! There are in total 6 parking (4 in front of the house / garage, 2 opposite), -. If a 7 is required, consult please public parking, parking in no case to the neighboring properties! The garage is used for storage (skis, sleds, gardening tools, luggage etc.) and for waste-sorting. Two slides are there at the guests disposal. In the anteroom to the garage, next to the staircase is plenty of room for ski boots (please order never to the house or the room!) In. 1 Mezzanine stands next to the hint. Doorstep a slight wooden table, which, placed in seconds before the stove, another 6 people. as a dining table is (gem. Mahlz. in the living room to 16 people.!)
