About Jill Cleary
Hello I transplanted here 8 years ago, came for a visit and didn't want to leave. Watch out that could happen to you too! I have traveled all over the world and have to say this felt like home. Where else can one go and everyone you meet is happy to be here, they live to climb/hike/kayak/river raft/ski . This is the place for outdoor enthusiasts as well as common sense practical people. One can almost toss their cellphone away when here, its that easy to live in the moment .
Jill Cleary purchased this Bungalow in 2015
Why Jill Cleary chose Durango
I am very into less is more these days and tiny living seems to make sense for all practical purposes. I wanted to buy something in Durango without breaking the bank and still have creature comforts. This was it.
What makes this Bungalow unique
I like the feel of the home, it lends itself to being part of the scenery. The home is energy efficient , close to town , yet has the rural thing going on. It would be a great retreat for visitors that are here to explore, visit friends or family and do not want to stay in a hotel room. The space is sunny with good views, peaceful neighborhood.

Cabin was cozy. We enjoyed our stay. Hope to return next year. Saw alot of wild from our porch.
Family had fun. Jill was great to work with. Very responsive. Neighbors were super-nice.
We stayed in this home for 5 weeks while waiting to close on a house. It was PERFECT for our needs. If you are looking for peace and quiet, amazing night skies, views for miles, incredible sunrises, look no further.
Durango is a great place to commune with nature. You are minutes from some really good day hikes, fly fishing on the animas, kayaking, rafting ,&tubing down the animas river that runs through town. Use the trolley to get back to your car after tubing the river. There are some really exceptional eateries in town like Ken & Sues, Seasons, & Red Snapper but too many to name really. The alpine loop is not to be missed when road is open for the season, very high country 11000+ ft above sea level, worth renting a jeep and seeing the 14ers around Durango area. Don't forget your camera!
