My exclusive style apartment in the Sony Center Berlin makes your trip an unforgettable experience. Enjoy your stay in our spacious and bright style apartment in one of the most famous places in Europe, the Potsdamer Platz. While riding the glass elevator to the apartment in the 9th floor you can enjoy the unique view into the atrium of the Sony Center. A great and inexpensive alternative to the suites of the hotels 'Grand Hyatt' or 'Ritz Carlton'!
The size of the apartment is 60m² scarce. It has a spacious living / dining area with a comfortable sofa bed Italian (1,60x2,0m) and a separate bedroom with goßem bed (1,80x2,0m) and enough space for your clothes, a designer kitchen, a luxury bath (Fa. Dornbracht), as well as a floor to ceiling glazing (individually darkened) with a fantastic view into the atrium of the Sony Center.

We rented this apartment as we were running the Berlin Marathon. The location can not be beat and the amenities of the unit are exceptional. The communication with the property manager was good and the followup outstanding. We really enjoyed staying here in the Sony Center. We were able to walk to all attractions of interest with the exception of of venue. It is very close to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. The best grocery store is across the street in the lowest level of the mall. It is called REWE and is excellent.
Given a chance to go back to Berlin this will be our first choice.
This spacious city apartment's location was great for us tourists: steps from Potsdamer Platz train, buses that go throughout the city, restaurants downstairs at Sony Center, Mall of Berlin was a 5 minute walk away, Brandenburg Gate and Unter Den Linden a convenient walk. It has large windows overlooking the interior of Sony Center, but its 9th floor location was far away from the noise. One bedroom, two other separate sleeping locations for my teenage boys, one bathroom with shower.
Tips for you: Be certain you have all your things when you leave. We made the unfortunate mistake of leaving items in the apartment after closing the door, and found the managers to be coldly unhelpful. Left us with a negative experience after really enjoying the city and the place. Also, there is a washing machine, but no dryer, which is crazy.
We loved this place. It was a very nice condo, in the Sony Center. The tram led right into the center. There were plenty of resturaunts, shopping, groceries, and the mall of Berlin just a few minutes walk. The condo itself was a very nice place. It was clean and safe. There is a full kitchen, plenty of room for my wife and I and two teens., and a washing machine. This is the place to stay in Berlin. Great price and great location. The next time we visit Berlin this is the place we will stay again. Thanks
We were very happy with this apartment! We were unable to get into the apartment before midafternoon (3:00 PM), and so had to rent the apartment for the preceding day to avoid waiting 3 hours after our flight's arrival in Berlin. That was really the only real inconvenience we encountered. For international flights arriving in the morning, the check-in time is rather inconvenient.
The apartment itself had everything we would want or need for a week's stay. Everything in the kitchen was supplied as stated, the apartment was spacious, WIFI was perfect, and the elevator was very convenient.
Linens were very fresh and the towel supply was more than ample. The apartment itself was clean and inviting.
I would look forward to staying there again, and would wholeheartedly recommend the property.
We rented this apartment (3.8.10) for 8 nights in early October. Since we could not get in early, we left our luggage in the train station next door before the owner met us about an hour late. He gave us a very quick show of the facilities. Unfortunately, there are no written instructions for appliances, which we have found extremely helpful in other rentals we have had. The apartment is easy to locate (near the giraffe at the Sony Center), on the 8th floor, and an easy walk to the all Berlin transportation, restaurants, grocery store (across the street and into the shopping mall), several museums and the concert hall. It was very quiet. There is lots of space for two; we used the “livingroom” as our bedroom by pulling back the beaded “curtain” since this room was closer to the bathroom. We moved tables around to make bedside tables as there were none. The one light over the bed serves only one person. There is no cover for the overhead light and the curtain is partly off its track, letting in light at night. The powder room was a bonus; there is plenty of closet space, real hangers, and a blowdryer. Towels were average and TP was provided. The washing machine in the bathroom has a cracked door, although the machine worked reasonably well with a 2-hour cycle. BYO HE soap. Unlike the description, there is no iron, ironing board, or drying rack, making drying wet clothes difficult. The bathroom tub drained VERY slowly, and one was in several inches of water shortly after starting the shower. It took a while for the water to get hot, which made the drain problem even more uncomfortable. Wifi was good. Note that several wall outlets do not charge unless the light switch is on, presumably because the outlets are set for lamps. There is a dining area for four and a galley kitchen with large fridge and freezer. 4 burner stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave with a sticking door, a dangling overhead light, 2 overhead lights out, sink, nespresso machine with pods, tea kettle, toaster, 1 dishtowel, no hot pads, no paper towels, 1 sponge, dish soap, 2 dishwasher pellets, enough pots and pans to fix meals and place settings for 6.
This apartment needs attention to details to rank better: lights and lighting; repair of the door on the washing machine; iron, ironing board, and drying rack; hot pads and at least one more dishtowel; repaired curtains; written instructions for appliances, especially oven and washing machine.
It is located in the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz and can all major attractions in just a few minutes walking distance.
