About Jessica Dalimata

How the ridge came to be…

Montana native Neil and his wife Jessica began looking for the perfect spot to build their dream resort after marrying in 2009. Neil was raised on a 1000 acre working ranch bordering the park and has always called Montana home. A carpenter and builder by trade, he and Jess wanted to build a five cabin resort to share with park visitors the glory of northwestern Montana.

Jessica Dalimata purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Jessica Dalimata chose Glacier Park

The ridge at glacier

In 2013 they found the perfect spot, untouched land on a ridge at the end of a county road one mile off of U.S. 2, and only eight miles from the West Glacier park entrance! In Montana terms, that’s right next door.

Neil began the project on the pristine land in 2014, designing a layout with a secluded feel where each cabin looks off of an expansive front porch across the downhill slope at the amazing mountain vistas across from The Ridge. Having worked with his father for years building cabins for resorts throughout the area, Neil brings to his own resort the finest design elements and craftsmanship that will make your stay a visual treat as well as a functional one. Come on out and let us share our dream with you!

Excellent cabin, nice location!

  • 5 of 5

This was by far the best cabin we had during our whole 25-day trip from the GC to Glacier! Everything we needed was available. Plenty of towels, even tablets for the diswasher and the washing machine. We just missed a sieve for the pasta, but that's a detail.

I've read a reaction from the owner Jessica, that there are portable airco's available, you just have to ask. Not that we needed those, but perhaps just a small remark: it would be nice if someone (Jessica?) would proactively check once a day or so, to see if everything is OK. She left us alone the whole 3 days of our stay, which is certainly with the best intentions! Congratulations to Neil for building such nice cabins. Rosie, the dog, is a treat. So friendly! Heartbreaking to have to send her away while we tried to eat outside... Don't let any of our remarks hold you back of staying at this place, it's wonderful! We saw deer every morning we left our cabin!

quiet area and good views of deer

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was clean and had a lot of amenities. Location close to Glacier and grocery store. Bedroom on first floor was all we used. Had a queen bed but room very small. Had no air conditioning but never needed it. Would recommend to anyone visiting Glacier as when you get done hiking every day you need a peaceful place to relax.

Beautifully appointed secluded cabin

  • 5 of 5

You could not ask for a more beautiful, comfortable and well thought out cabin to stay in. It has a full kitchen and in cabin laundry facilities, plus cozy gas "woodstove" and a lovely loft. It is both close to Glacier NP and other wilderness areas, but also off the beaten path enough to be quiet and peaceful. Next cabin is not directly in your line of sight, and is a decent distance away, assuming you don't have inconsiderately loud neighbors as we did. (Not audible unless we wanted to sit on our lovely front deck.) I think given the elegance of these cabins that is unlikely to be the case very often. Highly recommended!

Perfect mountain getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was so perfectly designed and decorated. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Very clean and well kept. We hated to leave. The owners were very friendly and take pride in their resort. The cabin was close to many beautiful areas in Glacier National Park. We could spend the day enjoying the sites and return to our little home away from home. I can't wait to return. Great retreat!

Glacier National Park: Crown Of The Country

By any name and from any view, Glacier National Park has a dramatic presence. Home to more than one million acres (1,583 square miles), the beauty of glacier-carved terrain encompasses wild meadows, glistening clear rivers, stunning 400-foot waterfalls, striking rock faces and dramatic mountain peaks. It's truly unlike any place on earth. The Going-to-the-Sun Road—an engineering marvel and National Historic Landmark—takes visitors through the heart of the park over Logan Pass and is one of the most scenic drives you'll ever take. In total, the Going-to-the-Sun Road is 50 miles of stunning scenic beauty.

While summer is the busiest season in the park, Glacier National Park is open year-round. Autumn offers a peaceful—and colorful—visit to the park, while winter provides a prime setting for snowshoeing, ice climbing, cross-country skiing and sightseeing.

Serenely perched atop a secluded setting overlooking mountains and forest, The Ridge at Glacier is just eight (8) miles from the park's western gate.
