About Jessica Dalimata

How the ridge came to be…

Montana native Neil and his wife Jessica began looking for the perfect spot to build their dream resort after marrying in 2009. Neil was raised on a 1000 acre working ranch bordering the park and has always called Montana home. A carpenter and builder by trade, he and Jess wanted to build a five cabin resort to share with park visitors the glory of northwestern Montana.

Jessica Dalimata purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Jessica Dalimata chose Glacier Park

The ridge at glacier

In 2013 they found the perfect spot, untouched land on a ridge at the end of a county road one mile off of U.S. 2, and only eight miles from the West Glacier park entrance! In Montana terms, that’s right next door.

Neil began the project on the pristine land in 2014, designing a layout with a secluded feel where each cabin looks off of an expansive front porch across the downhill slope at the amazing mountain vistas across from The Ridge. Having worked with his father for years building cabins for resorts throughout the area, Neil brings to his own resort the finest design elements and craftsmanship that will make your stay a visual treat as well as a functional one. Come on out and let us share our dream with you!

Glacier National Park: Crown Of The Country

By any name and from any view, Glacier National Park has a dramatic presence. Home to more than one million acres (1,583 square miles), the beauty of glacier-carved terrain encompasses wild meadows, glistening clear rivers, stunning 400-foot waterfalls, striking rock faces and dramatic mountain peaks. It's truly unlike any place on earth. The Going-to-the-Sun Road—an engineering marvel and National Historic Landmark—takes visitors through the heart of the park over Logan Pass and is one of the most scenic drives you'll ever take. In total, the Going-to-the-Sun Road is 50 miles of stunning scenic beauty.

While summer is the busiest season in the park, Glacier National Park is open year-round. Autumn offers a peaceful—and colorful—visit to the park, while winter provides a prime setting for snowshoeing, ice climbing, cross-country skiing and sightseeing.

Serenely perched atop a secluded setting overlooking mountains and forest, The Ridge at Glacier is just eight (8) miles from the park's western gate.

Fantastic place to stay, any time of the year!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from 4 nights at The Ridge and we will definitely be back again. We were a large group spanned over three cabins and each of us were very impressed by this resort. The owners are very accommodating and go out of their way for guests. Their beautiful Pyrenees dog Rosie is a well trained guard dog and is very gentle with even the smallest guests. The cabins are very spacious and have everything you need, including a washer and dryer which was so handy with little kids. The decor is rustic and comforting, nicely decorated and well maintained. The front porch is a dream to sit on in the morning and listen to the birds and watch the sun come up. We were somewhat worried about the location, but the drive to and from Whitefish and Kalispell is breathtaking and is not far at all; the directions provided at confirmation are on point and we had no trouble finding The Ridge.

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay, give this place a try!

Smoke gone and No Fires

  • 4 of 5

There were fires in the Glacier area the week before we arrived so we as others were cautious about our stay in the Glacier area. But rain proceeded our arrival. All was well. This place is really nice and out of the way. If you desire solitude along with comfort, this is a good place. Our welcome committee is a big white dog named Rosie. I was told she keeps the bears and mountain lions at bay and appears to be irritated by the local small black colored squirrels. So if you are visiting the Glacier area, I do recommend this place.

Quiet Beautiful Space

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two daughters and I were visiting Glacier National Park for the first time and decided to stay just outside of the park. Our cabin at the Ridge was 10 minutes from the park entrance and it was the best 10 minutes away ever after spending the day hiking and exploring GNP. Being able to come back to this quiet cabin after a busy day surrounding by tourists could not be beat. The cabin itself is amazing. I'm a person who is crazy about the details so everything from the quality of sheets to light fixtures are important to me. I was so happy. The kitchen was perfectly setup up with good quality cookware and cutlery. Even the towels were fluffy and white. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Glacier Ridge cabins

  • 5 of 5

On our very first visit to Montana, we can truly say we were completely delighted with our stay at The Ridge! The accomodations were wonderful! Everything we needed was available!

We loved the touches of modern with the natural elements! In the mornings and at dusk, we enjoyed the visits of white tailed deer from our back stoop! The visits from Rosie the dog, were just as much welcomed! Beautiful Place to enjoy our trip to Glacier!! Thanks for all of your hospitality Jessica!!

A Perfect retreat near all the fun and excitement of West Glacier National Park and nearby Whitefish

  • 5 of 5

If you want a quiet, serene place to stay with your family or friends that has access to all of the Glacier National Park trails and activities plus all of the fun and restaurants from West Glacier to Whitefish, this is your place. Jessica and Neil are the perfect hosts; the cabins are modern, newly build, well equipped havens. The price is right for these cabins. There were four of us, two couples, and our cabin allowed us to have our privacy and also the space to enjoy each other's company--sitting on the deck, conversing and looking at the dark sky with a beer or glass of wine was perfect. There are lots of restaurants available as well as take out or you can cook. We highly recommend this place,. Al and Georga
