This beautiful, extensive villa is situated in a very private, gated community of only four villas. It is located in the prestigious Verdemar area, which is an extremely pleasant, well established residential area of Villamartin, and adjoins the Villamartin Golf Course. It is a very spacious property with 3 beds, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. It has the luxury of providing a wonderful private pool just a few steps from the terrace - swm or relax around the pool in complete privacy, a car port, air-con (in all rooms) which is a must in the summer months, an elevated outside dining area, first floor solarium and roof top terrace offering superb views out towards the coast. New additions include free WiFi and solar panel providing more efficient hot water. Although in a quiet area, there are bars, shops and restaurants just a 10min walk away. Perfect holiday villa for the whole family, a 2min drive to the Villamartin Plaza, 5min drive to the beautiful, white sandy beach of La Zenia. Torrevieja with its marina, restaurants, bars, shops and Water Park is a nearby drive away. Features include alarm, cable TV, air-con, DVD/PlayStation 2 console, CD, WiFi.

Villamartin Plaza: The central Plaza of Villamartin is renowned for its abundance of bars and restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines such as Italian, Chinese, Argentinean, Thai, Mexican, Swedish and English and is on two tiers, with a beautiful courtyard in the center. The Plaza also has a small supermarket, a bank, a chemist, a doctors, gift shop, etc. and is a 2 min drive from the villa. Next to the Plaza is the Villamartin Golf Club, which is equipped with tennis courts and a clubhouse restaurant, which is open to the public for lunch and dinner.

Beaches: The Costa Blanca is renowned for its abundance of beautiful white sandy beaches, many of which have been given a European Blue Flag rating. The nearest is La Zenia, which is only a 5 min driveway, Cabo Roig, Dehesa de Campoamor and Mil Palmeras which are within a 10 min drive away and have a gentle sloping sand into the warm sea - ideal for families. Pedelos and water sports can be found at some of the local beaches. If you fancy a drive out, North of Torrevieja are the beautiful beaches of Guadamar which is bordered by a large expanse of sand dunes covered with pines and eucalyptus, La Marina and La Mata.

The resort: The Costa Blanca enjoys a mild climate with year round sunshine. The World Health Organisation recognise it as one of the healthiest areas in the world due to its salt lakes! Torrevieja is only a 15 minute drive away and is a typical Spanish seaside town, where you will find Spanish restaurants and bars, a marina with boat trips and fishing trips available, an evening 'craft market' and fair along the sea front, a local waterpark, go-karting track, cinema, indoor bowling alley and a new outdoor shopping complex 'La Habanaras'. Locally, you need never go hungry or thirsty as there are many restaurants and bars that can easily be reached on foot or by car. For golf enthusists, the villa overlooks the 17th hole of the Villamartin golf course, for non-golfers there are beautiful beaches to explore, water sports, local street markets selling delicious fresh local produce, horse riding, local Spanish towns and villages to visit or simply while away the day by relaxing by the pool.

What makes this villa unique

We constantly strive to maintain the property to a high standard and each year endeavour to spend time in doing so. Two years ago we had been busy and added Wifi (free), a solar panel which has provided a better than expected hot water supply, had a complete refurb of the pool and I must say it looks pretty good, oh and we also have and a new 40' HD Flat screen tv.

This year we have had the whole of the outside of the property painted, which has brightened up the villa, and it now looks immaculately fresh and clean.

PRIVATE POOL - this speaks for itself really, but I really enjoy a morning swim when I can have the pool to myself. It is sooo inviting and is especially convenient being a few steps away, it is also very private ensuring complete relaxation. We take pride in the quality of it, and have it cleaned regularly and twice a week in the summer months.

ELECTRIC GATE, provides added security and privacy.

PERFECT LOCATION, Verdemar really is a beautiful area of Villamartin. It is well established and has a mixture of villas and apartments surrounded by beautiful gardens and streams. It is very tranquil and relaxing, however it is close enough to walk to bars and restaurants.

Great place

We rented the villa for one week in September 2014. It is a wonderful rental for a holiday in Spain. The house is spacious, well maintained. One of the highlights is the private pool. The enclosure is gated for added safety. As to the kitchen it has everything one needs for self catering. Also, the location puts you in easy reach of the beach at La Zenia, excellent shopping opportunities, restaurants, cafés and last but not least the main motor way. All in all we can highly recommend this property; we will definitely book again

Excellent, a great retreat.

We had another great week here.

The villa is excellent, well maintained and of the highest standard.

Great for couples looking for a quiet getaway or just as good for families looking for a base from which to explore the surrounding area.

The pool is not overlooked and very private. Ideal for kids and adults alike.

The local super market is only a 10 minute walk or 2 minutes by car, and is very well stocked. I recommend you check out the fresh fish counter, it’s amazing. Also, it’s not expensive, for example 4 fresh chicken kebabs and a couple of sides of ribs set me back less than 5 euros.

If you fancy an evening out, then the plaza at Villamartin has some great restaurants. They cater for most tastes.

If you are a football fan, then check out The Sturdy Sod. It’s a 10 minute walk, and shows all the top games on over 10 screens. The food is well above par also.

John and Judy are very welcoming hosts, booking was easy and all the details were sorted in quick time. Having stayed here previously, I look forward to returning. The recently installed wifi is a welcome addition, as it allows you to tweet and facebook all you want, (much to the annoyance of your friends)!

To summarises, a smashing villa, in a great location and we’ll be back.

A great stay! We loved having our own space in the sun, with the gated community and exceptional private pool. I would defiantly recommend the villa to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

Beautiful Villa and perfect location

Having a little one under three when we came to stay in October we wanted somewhere that would feel like a home to stay in...well this beautiful Villa was perfect. the villa is absolutely spotless, beautiful and spacious and very secure.The location was spot on as the beach was a short drive away and the Plaza where was recommended to us for dining out was literally again another very short drive away where there are a number of restaurants and bars...it was perfect for little family! shops and supermarkets are close it could not have been better. lovely friendly and not to forget helpful housekeeper. We had an amazing holiday and so grateful for being able to have stay and experienced our first family holiday at the Villa. We would definitely be staying again and recommend to anyone wanting a fab holiday!!! Kerry, Scott and Sienna-Lei

Lovely Relaxing Holiday

We found Judith's lovely villa was exactly as described, it is in a very nice location,

very clean with a lovely pool. In all extremely well maintained, and so easy to get to from San Javier airport. All of Judith's suggestions and recommendations

particulally the restaurants were spot on. We will be back, and I would not hesitate

to recommend this villa to anyone wanting a very relaxing holiday.

Amazing Holiday - The Wards June 2010

This is our second time at the villa and our honeymoon at that, yet again we had an amazing holiday, everything we could have wished for, home from home is so much easier when you have small children. The pool is fantastic, the bars and restaurants in the near by plaza our friendly, welcoming and food is of excellent quality at reasonable prices.

The local beaches are fab, white sand and clear blue sea (wish we were back there).

La Fuenta by the supermarket is expanding with more bars and restaurants this too has a great atmosphere for all.

We definiately will be back!!!!!!

Villamartin is situated approximately 12 km west of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. It is approximately a 45 minute drive from Alicante Airport and a 25 minute drive from Murica Airport. There are several blue flag beaches within the area providing clean and safe bathing. The villa has beautiful marble flooring throughout and consists of three twin bedrooms, all with built in wardrobes and air-conditioning unit in each room. To the ground floor is master bedroom with en-suite, dining area, lounge with sofa bed for two people, kitchen, utility room and Wc. From the lounge patio doors is an elevated outside dining area. To the first floor level there are two twin bedrooms, master bathroom and door leading to solarium. Steps from the solarium lead up to roof top terrace.

Golf: Villamartin is without doubt one of the finest golf courses on the whole of the Costa Blanca. It has hosted the Spanish open in January 2000 and is a frequent venue for the Mediterranean Open. The course is varied and not too long, and is well adapted to the natural surroundings and terrain. It is open all year round and ideally situated adjacent to the property. (As quoted in The Golf Mag Europe, Summer 08 'at the 17th you will find the signature Par 3 220m elevated tee to a tier green - superb').The contrasting courses of Las Ramblas and Campoamor, set amongst incredible water hazards, pine & palm trees are within a 5 min drive, (take plenty of balls with you!). The famous two 18-hole Kentucky blue-grass courses at La Manga are accessible via a 35 min drive south. The relatively new PGA course 'La Finca' is about a 15 min drive away. A clean cost is payable on arrival to pay for clean and laundry after your departure of 100 euros based on 4 people and 10 euros per person thereafter.

No refunds will be given on cancellations after the balance has been paid in full, unless cancelled dates are able to be re-booked.
