Extracts from our guestbook: Now, although our last evening came, but a great love (to the island) has begun. We wanted the cold time and the noise of the city to escape and have seen such a wonderful (almost magical) world piece. We have almost touched the sky and finally felt ourselves. We come back to this warm home !!... Because ... "Here I am Man, here I can be!"
Dear Verena, dear Denis,

It is picturesquely situated between fertile green terraced fields and steep almost vertical rock walls ("Red Wall") on the road between Vallehermoso and Hermigua.
In the low-lying region is Agulo Casco, surrounded by a natural amphitheater, where the three villages of La Montañeta, Las Casas, El Charco, and a little out of the homestead Caserio de Lepe are.
Above the village Agulo lies at an altitude of about 250 meters, he was in the 20s the 17th century. Century founded.
During a tour through the narrow winding streets you walk past the beautiful old colonial reached at around 1920 Moorish-style village church 'Iglesia de San Marcos. There, old trees invite you to rest and relax. The church houses a remarkable figure of Christ the Canarian artist Pérez Donis.

The higher-lying area of Sobreagulo with the hamlets of Las Rosas, La Palmita, Meriga (Meriga the forest was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Cruz de Tierno lie near the Garajonay National Park.
The modest population continues to produce the typical handicraft products of the island and lives mainly on fishing and agriculture, the banana is still number one.
