About Ashton Thompson
We are a young couple who have been coming to the Gatlinburg area since we were kids. We formed a lot of great memories exploring the Smoky Mountain National Park and enjoying all the sites and sounds of the Gatlinburg downtown. We were engaged on the Sky Lift and even have the picture to prove it! When our honeymoon plans to a tropical island fell through, we came to Gatlinburg for a week to relax in the mountains. We are passionate about our family, our jobs, and about sharing our cabin with other families who can form lasting memories of their own! We like to treat every guest as we would want to be treated, so your enjoyment during your stay is our utmost priority.

Why Ashton Thompson chose Gatlinburg
This property really has it all. It has amazing mountain views, but it is still very close to downtown Gatlinburg. Normally you would have to drive 20 minutes out of town to get these views! This cabin has a huge game room for the kids, which includes everything they could ever want to stay busy if the weather turns bad. Guests have access to a pool during the summer months. There is a private hot tub on the deck and two of three decks have TV's to enjoy the beautiful weather while catching the game or your favorite show. We took a long time to find a cabin that checked all of our boxes, and this one truly is perfect for everyone. Enjoy a long weekend or a full week of activities the area has to offer and you won't be disappointed.

Great view and inside amenities.
The cabin is very well kept in a great location with easy access to both downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There are three very comfortable bedrooms and although we chose the master upstairs one of the downstairs bedrooms has a fantastic view of the mountains. Upstairs offers a pool table, air hockey table, a pop a shot and various arcade games. We actually spent a lot of time playing air hockey. Overall it was a great quick getaway and we were able to meet our son and daughter-in-law there who live in the Atlanta area. We will certainly add this cabin as a favorite for future visits to the Smokies. Ashton was very easy to work with.
The cabin is beautiful and has amazing views! Definitely recommend!
Amazing! We loved it! We will definitely go back! Highly recommend!
A beautiful cabin that fits multiple families
The cabin has stunning views of the mountains and is in a great location just off the main road in Gatlinburg. The cabin fits multiple families and the kids love the game room and heart shaped jacuzzi. The outdoor hot tub is so relaxing in the evening after long hikes. Our favorite part is to ride down to the dumpster at midnight and see the bear. This was our 2nd time to stay in this cabin and would love to stay again.
Great Game Room!
The cabin is in a development of similar cabins close to the main parkway into Gatlinburg. Parking is right at the door with only a few steps and a ramp if needed. It is only a 10 minute drive to the city. This cabin has a great game room that the kids loved. There is pool, air hockey, pinball, multicade, and basketball. Some of it could use some attention, though. Several pool cues have broken tips and the wood triangle is broken, the display on the pinball is going out, and the basketball game plug is missing. The cabin has wifi, but we had to reboot it several times. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and glasses. Other than a large skillet, there was plenty of cookware. For some reason, we could only find 3 spoons. The microwave door is broken, but it is a dumb manufacturing design that doomed the door to failure. Unlike all the other cabins we have stayed at, it has a disposal! The cabin was generally clean, but one bathroom was not cleaned after the previous guests. There was toothpaste in the sink, a lot of hair, etc. We cleaned it up, and the owner promised to bring this to the attention of the cleaning company. The adjoining bedroom had one wall above a lamp was that was coated with "dust bunnies." The rest of the cabin was very clean. The hot tub was essentially a 2 person hot tub, and smaller than the ones we have had at other cabins. It is a nice cabin, and the owners were responsive to the bathroom issue. We would consider staying here again, but our son graduates from UT this year, so we won't have an excuse to visit Gatlinburg again next year.
We really loved this cabin!
Thank y'all for sharing this cabin with us. We had four adults, two kids aged 7 and 9, and my 6 month old. There was so much here to keep us entertained. The kids and adults both loved the game room and the hot tub. It snowed a couple days that we were there and we were perfectly content to just hang out at the cabin. The view was also amazing. We really did love everything about this cabin. If I had to come up with a con, it would not be anything to do with the cabin or owners. The people staying in the cabin next to us were some spring breakers that were a bit confused about where to park. They kept parking in front of our cabin. I'm pretty sure had we called or texted the owners they would have taken care of this, but we chose to just deal with it. All in all this was a great cabin and vacation. We would definitely stay there again!
Super clean and very good parking!!
