The apartment is on the third floor of an 18th-century building and has been completely renovated. It contains two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single, which can be converted into a double bed. The beds are of the highest quality! The living room has a sitting and a dining area. The sofa-bed can be used in exceptional cases, for a fifth person or for children who don't sleep in their parents' bedroom. We have everything you need to relax - from the TV with various German, English, and French programs over the internet to the bathtub with water massage. Climate control is available in the bedrooms, in case you get too hot in summer; in wintertime we can set up a heater on demand.
First-class accommodations make our holiday apartments the perfect point of departure for all your Roman explorations. This is no run-of-the-mill experience! The apartment is equipped with all modern comforts, offering amenities such as comfortable beds, flatscreen TV with German, English, and French programs, a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and dishwasher, internet access, telephone, lovely bathroom and living room, a spacious sofa to relax and a dining table. The location is absolutely perfect: Everything is within walking distance, and public transportation and buses is available nearby to get around the city's streets. We are also very well-connected: The train will take you right from Fiumicino Airport to our doorstep, at the San Pietro Railway Station. If you desire additional comfort, we can organize a pick-up service. Travelling by car is also no problem. We can recommend several parking lots to you. Our guests' comfort is our top priority!
Linen, towels, internet included. Electricity in summer by consumption (€0,35/kWh), heating in winter under consumption (€1,20/m3).
Amazing on every aspect. Stefano was professional, easy to work with before arrival, and so very helpful once in Rome. The place was very well maintained, stylish, comfortable and so convenient-- just a few minutes walk to the Vatican. We got some very neat night pictures in St Peters square since it was so close. Highly recommended!
Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. Location is handy, just outside the Vatican wall. We did a tour of the Vatican on the night we arrived (Friday) which was tremendous, and then walked back through St.Peter's square and the colonnade on our way home - great to do at night.
Good space in living/dining area. Wi-fi availability was handy. Apartment was clean and very tidy, kitchen well stocked. Owner (Stefano) arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport - was very handy and much appreciated as we were running late and the driver waited for us. We were in a group of 4 people with bags, etc so normal size cars are too small. We had mentioned this to Stefano so we were met by a vehicle that could carry us and our luggage. My advice is to take a cab as most Italians seem to drive by a different set of rules to the rest of the world.
The apartment is on the third floor which gets you above the street nicely but be prepared to walk up as the building doesn't have a lift. The train station is not far and this train can take you to the larger stations where you can hop on the fast trains to other cities. The buses run along the main street and although we didn't catch them, Stefano told us what buses would take us to the sights.
There is no washing machine, although there is a laundromat a walk away. My wife told me that the owner wanted to charge us twice the advertised rate as that for the locals, so we waited for our next stop (Florence) to do our washing.
Stefano organised for a car to take us to the main train station on our departure so that was handy.
I would recommend this apartment if you are staying in Rome, we would happily stay again.
The appartment was homely, very nice and clean. All the facilities were renovated with good taste but you could still sence the history of the building. In the kitchen there were all the basic equipments you needed for cooking. In the bedrooms there were plenty of lockers and the beds were very comfortable. Towels and sheets all included the price. Our teenaged kids appreciated the free Wifi connection.
The location was great: It took ony 5 min walk and you were in St. Peter´s Square.Local bus stops were beside the building. Of course the noise of the traffic was heard but it did not disturbe our living. The neighbourhood and area were quiet. You could take a walk in the evenings without any disorder.
Our host Sfefano was most helpfull and kind. He also arranged for us the pick up service from the airport and gave good tips how and where to travel in the city. It was also good to know that we could have contact him any time if needed. We will warmly recommend this appartment for families who are travelling with school aged kids (3. floor) and who appreciate homely living in abroad.
With our apartment, Rome is at your doorstep. Our two holiday apartments are just 500 metres from St. Peter's Square! You can get practically everywhere on foot: the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, and if you're up for a walk, even the Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, and the Colosseum! If you would rather travel in comfort, the bus stop is right around the corner, serviced by the various buses that go around the city, especially the 110 bus. Naturally, all possible public transit options are available, the bus stop is close by, and the San Pietro Railway Station is 500 m away (for example, for your arrival from Fiumicino Airport).
