Condo has spectacular direct oceanfront views! Pet Friendly & Free WiFi! Our OP1208 'ClamityJane' condo is a direct oceanfront, Spectacular direct oceanfront views, 2BR/2BA at the Ocean Park Resort #1208. Condo is on the top 12th floor with spectacular ocean views, sleeps 6-8 (2 queens and 2 futons in den) and upgraded every year. New flat top range, new dishwasher and new microwave under cabinet!

Condo Recently upgraded. 2 new 26' flat screen tv's installed in Den and Master Bedroom! We have completed nearly $20,000 of renovations / upgrades to this condo since 2005.

Condo & Resort are Great for family vacation! Enjoy this direct oceanfront 2BR/2BA condo on top 12th floor with spectacular panoramic view of the ocean from the top twelveth floor! Spacious 1000 square feet, sleeps 6, and includes a full kitchen oceanfront den, oceanfront master bedroom, second bedroom and two balconies. 2 new queen beds in each bedroom! Den and master bedroom Balconies are parallel to ocean or direct oceanfront. Our " ClamityJane" condo Sleeps six on two new queen-size beds and 2 futons in den. Many new amenities added including: 2 new queen beds & 2 futons in den, new plumbing, new faucets and master toilet.

Five to ten minute drive to the new oceanfront boardwalk, Myrtle Beach International Airport, Market Commons, Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Pavilion, The Palace, public tennis and basketball courts and parks, hundreds of restaurants, outlet stores, shops, grocery stores, numerous golf courses, churches, casino boat tours, theaters, and near everything. Also, fifteen to twenty minutes drive to House of Blues and Barefoot Landing.

Two private porches overlooking ocean from den and master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, new refrigerator, range/oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer, armoire with new HDTVs, Sanyo DVD/CD/MP3 player in den and home stereo with CD player, AM/FM stereo and cassette player. 3 HDTV's in den & both bedrooms. New HVAC, recliner, 2 double sleeper futons in den, new carpet, new hardwood floors in kitchen, recliner and private covered parking.

Condo is: Pets okay, No smoking., must be over age 22, single married family (1-2) and 6 or less people max. Clean linens and towels provided, cleaning before check-in (4pm) and after check-out (10am). Sat to Sat weekly rentals from April - Sept.

Our Ocean Park #1208 condo is also about one mile from the Market Commons shopping area beside MB Internation Airport, which is a huge shopping and retail area featuring places like Tommy Bahama Cafe, PF Cheng's, China Bistro, Ultimate California Pizza, Orvis, Grand 14 Cinema, Gordon Biersch Brewery, Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, etc. Broadway at the Beach is also easily accessible, as well as Ripley's Believe it Or Not Aquarium, and tons of other attractions. Barefoot Landing is about 15 miles from the resort.

Rate includes all: Discount, All taxes, fees, utilities, clean linens and towels, and condo is pro cleaned before and after your stay! Renter must be: single married family (1-2 max.), pets okay, no smoking, no groups, over age 22, max. of 6 people. Weekly vacation rentals only from Sat to Sat from April - Sept. Monthly, weekly and 3-night min. rentals from Oct - March only.

Uncomfortable and run-down

The view and location were great. Ocean park is well maintained. But the condo is in need of a lot of work. It’s very run down and crowded with uncomfortable furniture.

Owner's Response: Our condo has Spectacular views, great location, pet friendly, free WiFi and low owner rates! Sorry to hear that! Had you called us during your stay, instead of afterwards, we would have gladly fixed or replaced any problem in our condo, or given a partial credit. Each renter signs off on our rental form to obey, accept and agree to our online vacation rental agreement, which you did not. You must call us when check in. We would have gladly used your rent $$$ to fix or replace any item or refund. You accept our private home as is, as per your signed vacation rental form. We have had hundreds of renters since 2005 Write us nice reviews. We have spent over $20,000 on condo with new: HVAC, appliances, beds, plumbing, flooring, furniture, TVs, hurricane bldg. damage, & high $1000+/month HOA dues. Sorry, but you never called us during your stay to fix any of the problems you mention. If you are very demanding or picky, we ask that you not rent out condo. We likely could not please you. However, we expect that you did look at all our pics, videos and read our vacation rental agreement which you signed to accept, agree & obey. Had you informed us of these issues during your stay or even before your stay, we would have fixed any item. We can not please every renter. In 24 years we have had thousands of happy, satisfied customers. ~5% are bad renters which we can not please. We do have in our vacation rental agreement (which you signed to accept, agree & obey) that if upon check in, our guests find cleanliness issues, or problems, to please call us at check-in so that we can have our cleaners come back & correct the issue. You never called us, but waited till after your stay to inform us! It is also important to us that if and when and issue or concern arise during your stay, you contact us immediately so that we can immediately fix or correct the issue, as per our signed rental agreement with you. We rely on our guests such as yourselves to alert us of any problems or needs. We can not fix or repair items that we are not aware of and after the fact. Obviously, you did not look at our pics and video.

Clean but definitely needs updating

We were a little taken aback when we first walked in. The unit was tight and in desperate need of several minor repairs. It was clean and served its purpose. We would not stay here again.

Owner's Response: The condo has a spectacular direct oceanfront view. You accept our private condo as Is, as per our signed vacation rental agreement with you. We tell you up front that if your a picky or demanding renter, then don't rent it. No calls made to owner by renter during their stay, nor mention of any tightness nor minor repairs.

Older, but good space and amenities

First, I should stay I have been going to the area for over 20 years, and have rented condos from Cherry Grove to the campgrounds.

This is not a brand new, shiny condo. If you want everything brand new, polished and need 13 pools, this may not be your place.

However, there is a nice amount of space and the owner takes care of this condo. Yes, it could use a touch up here or there, everything is not perfect. But it is a great oceanfront condo all around. Some of my favorite things here were: amount of space, washer and dryer, dishwasher, two baths (one for the master), and two balconies. Great views from both balconies, as well as the living room and master bedroom.

The owner gives you a price for everything, and he really prices it accordingly. I thought his pricing was excellent for what you get. He was easy to deal with when renting the unit, and did not throw a bunch of extra costs at you.

The location is good, and onsite parking is nice.

I found the usual as far as cookware, some was very beat up, but there was enough to cook with, and stores nearby for what you needed specifically. I was making a rib roast and needed a meat thermometer, so I bought one. I left in at the condo for the next person, which is something I would encourage other visitors to do. If you can leave something, it helps the next guest. Also, if you rent from an owner, respect the place, treat it as if it were your own.

The resort itself is relatively small, has a decent indoor pool, outdoor pool and hot tubs. The people we encountered were all very friendly.

Overall, a nice condo, good location, nice amenities and a decent owner make this a great rental. We enjoyed our stay!

Great 1st stay in Myrtle Beach!!!

This is a GREAT location to stay in and owner to work with. The rooms were comfortably roomy and clean. The master room has a great view! The appliances were clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Although we didn't utilize them, there were even extras such as coffee and other cooking and cleaning supplies available on our stay. Don't know if these are left from previous renters are not, but either way that was a nice extras. Also, being on the 12th floor and at the end you don't have to deal with unwanted noise. I WILL USE IT AGAIN WHEN I RETURN!!!!!!

excellent!! We have stayed here two . years in a row. Everything was better than expected !.The private bedroom was big enough we hardly ever ventured into the other area . Their w, ere 4 adults in our party. photos and video were right on ! The owner is always prompt with response , when getting trip set up. We never needed for anything so we never contacted him either time while there. My daughter is wanting to go with another couple this year and so our we. Guess we have been bragging to much of how much fun it is. I could sit and look out my bedroom window all night. Have a picture taken of the sunrise from the balcony over my fireplace.

Fantastic Vacation!!

We stayed in Ocean Park #1208 from 6/2/12-6/9/12 and really enjoyed our time there. We have 3 children from 7-13 and they all enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The resort is located in a great area for families and we were not far from anything that we wanted to do. The condo is very spacious and exceptionally clean and the view from the balconies is priceless!! We will deffinitly be returning in the future to stay at Ocean Park #1208!!! Thank You for the wonderful memories this condo has helped provide for my family!
