The apartment is located in a quiet residential area on the northern edge of Oberhausen, in the green belt of the Ruhr. Shopping for daily needs are nearby, as are the bus services to the City. The residential area ideally combines proximity to nature with the attractions of the big city.

Top quality, exceeding our expectations 10 stars not 5 !!!

An unusual location for a vacation, our Mallorca October being cancelled as the airline went into liquidation. We came to the Rhur area explore its industrial heritage.

As we arrived the owner welcomed us and gave us a conducted tour of the extensive apartment. we were impressed by the freshness, standard of decor and amount of equipment. Even fresh flowers that remained fresh all week. Separate kitchen, dining, lounge and bedroom areas allowed us to feel relaxed, no need to shuffle beds around or rebuild a lounge every day. Extensive carpets made walking around very comfortable, and space to leave our shoes on the landing. A very quiet neighbourhood with plenty of on street parking within a few metres. Small supermarket within walking distance and larger stores within a short driving distance. We saw several restaraunts, bars and take-aways nearby, but either ate wider afield or cooked our own meals in the well appointed kitchen. More equipment than we needed. A 4 person kitchen dining table meant we did not need to use the proper "Dining Table". We were out every day, a wet day at Gasometer and shops, dry days in industrial heritage parks or on the Tiger/Turtle rollercoaster at Duisburg. Final cleaning was easy, Our week ended too soon, and we will have to come back next year to see more of the area and enjoy the luxury of this appartment.
