This 300 year old family home has been entirely renovated to offer modern conveniences. From the main photo, yours will be the "middle" part.

Nestled in a charming village, just 20 miles south of Beaune, in the heart of the World renowned wineries of Burgundy.

Accommodating up to 7 people, 2 modern bathrooms, a nice fenced in courtyard, it will be a beautiful setting or home base for your Burgundy adventures: visiting castles in this rich historical region, wine tasting in the biggest "caves", exploring the countryside and its amazing regional cuisine etc...

You also have access to the private garden and at the end, there is a door leading directly to the river where you can settle in for an afternoon of fishing!

Beautiful House - Charming with Modern Amenities

I had the pleasure to stay a couple of weeks in Muriel's family home with my daughter.

The village is super nice, very authentic of rural France. We loved to be able to go to the bakery right across the street every morning! The location was a perfect home -base for our daily outings to the famous wineries, the spectacular towns of Beaune and Chalon, visits of different castles and some family fun at the pool and zip lines.

The house is like no other "rental": beautiful furnishings, very homy and personal, comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. How exciting it was for us to know that's a 300 year old home! We invited another couple and there were plenty of room for them too.

Thank you Muriel for sharing your beautiful family home and we hope to come back soon.

We had a fantastic time in Muriels historical family home. It reminded me of my parents old farmhouse and my grand parents Italian villa. Using the antique crockery brought back memories which was like travelling in time.

The house itself was very comfortable. We slept excellently and Muriel adjusted the beds as we wanted them. The kids had they own room sepated by another room from ours. The bathrooms had large showers and were spic and span. Good water pressure.

The kitchen was very well equiped with old and new pots and pans. Lots and lots of serving dishes in all sizes and shapes.

The courtyard was a great extra. The kids played outside. We did bbq (our own) every night and even were given permission to set up a small swimming pool. The garden has a pond, so that we didn't use not to take any risks with small children, but I can imagine sitting there as well.

As we were there in the hottest summer days the house provided coolness during the hottest hours and during the nights. In the fresher hours the court yard was a good place to be.

It was good to have the backery across the road, though we had to order our croissants in advance as they often were sold out. The shops nearby had good quality produce.

It was easy and plaisant to communicate with Esther as she speaks at least 3 languages (that I know of!) and we were happy to be able to plan in advance in order to accommodate their requests like beddings, bbq and pool and other recommendations.

We are also glad that they appreciated the style of the house (yes it was originally built 300 years ago) and all the amenities it has to offer like our private courtyard, the bakery across the street and fun activities around the village.

The whole family was very respectful and really friendly with our neighbors and the whole residence. Without hesitation I recommend this family to my fellow homeowners, who will be glad to host them. Merci et j'espere vous revoir bientot!

Eine zwar alte Wohnung, aber sehr sauber und ruhige Wohnung.

Kleine Küch ist vorhanden, zwei renovierte Bäder auch.

Nachbarschaft ist sehr freundlich.

In Zukunft wäre eine hauseigenes WLAN hilftreich, da in der Wohnung kaum mobiler Empfang vorhanden ist.
