Recently refurbished and redecorated luxury house, with 6 bedrooms sleeping 12 comfortably. Newly appointed kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Dining room table seats 12. Sun trap courtyard garden with bbq.

Parking for 3 cars. Central heating and constant hot water. 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with bath) plus outside shower in utility room, ideal for washing off sand after a day at beach. Close to Newport Boat Club and 18 hole golf course, and Newport village with all amenities and excellent local deli and butcher. Newport is within the Pembrokeshire National Park and is on the Coastal Path.

Part weeks: During non peak times, it would be possible to book for less than a week. Please contact the owners to discuss.

We own Bryn Awel as two families. Our children are grown up now but we still use the house during some school periods. We don't use the house outside school holidays.

Why Paul Newton chose Fishguard, Newport, The Preseli Hills & Bluestone

It is a beautiful stone built house with six double bedrooms and close aspects to the sea from most bedrooms. We have refurbished the house fully and look after it very well as we use it for ourselves. The location is fabulous and we find that we don't use the car for days on end, with an easy walk to the village for supplies, and so much to do here.

Great cottage in a great village

Excellent cottage. Housed and slept 12 of us very comfortably. Right on the estury, access to the coastal path and minutes walk from a friendly village with several pubs and a few handy shops. The owner was very helpful with the booking.

Newport is an attractive, small coastal town between Fishguard and Cardigan. It boasts both a Norman Castle and a Church, which stand proudly above this small medieval town on the slopes of Carn Ingli mountain. Ancient streets and pathways lead directly to the river Nevern (Nyfer) Estuary teeming with wildlife.

Pretty walks from the town lead the visitor to the heights of Carn Ingli (Mount of Angels) with splendid vistas to Snowdonia, the Wicklow Mountains and St. David's Peninsula. Descend from the heights to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with its abundance of wild flowers and secret sheltered coves.

Golf: The property is 4 miles from the 18 hole Newport Golf Club with outstanding views out to sea. Cardigan Golf Club is within 10 miles and Haverfordwest Golf club is within 20 miles.
