Nestled on a beautifully landscaped corner, our Green Certified, stylish 2700+ square foot Montford home was completed in June of 2015. We are pleased to offer you a one bedroom 650 square foot apartment area located in our ground level. The apartment has a private entrance and off street parking. It offers relaxed comfort with independent climate control and plenty of natural light from large double insulated windows and the secure opaque glass front door. The bedroom is completely private with two windows, ceiling fan, and big double closet. A large open plan living room & food area has a separate dining table along with counter/bar seating, plus a comfortable entertainment area. The large fully appointed bathroom sports a jazzy black & white hexagonal tile floor, granite vanity top, and a shower/tub combo.

Great weekend in Asheville!
We planned a very last minute trip to Asheville and kind of booked on a whim and Peter and Frank were AWESOME hosts!
The place was very nice. Stocked with all the necessities and comforts! It’s a short walk to downtown through a really cool neighborhood. Our dog Louie came along on this trip too and the had dog treats waiting for him next to a bottle of wine for us.
The apartment is as pictured. It's very nice, clean and spacious.
Love this little place! Frank and Peter were wonderful. The backyard was perfect for our little westie. It is within walking distance to downtown. We highly recommend this place for the weekend. We will definitely be returning!!!
Our 4 night stay was outstanding from the beginning to end. Frank & Peter were a complete pleasure to work with. They were quite thoughtful, generous with their time/guidance/recommendations and so enjoyable!
We found the unit to be extremely comfortable, quite esthetically pleasing and exceptionally practical. They outfitted the unit with countless considerate touches that made you feel fully spoiled.
The location was a winner too. We drove to the Blue Ridge Parkway each morning to enjoy a full days hike. The beautiful hikes we chose were only ~40-60 minutes away from the unit and the views were stunning. In the evenings we felt completely comfortable walking from the unit to out go to enjoy delicious dinners, hear fun music and sample the local breweries.
We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s in the US, Europe and the Caribbean and found Frank and Peter‘s place to be our favorite. They transformed their space into a perfect mix of a high-end hotel/special boutique inn/intimate art gallery and a cozy best friends house! We highly recommend it.

Amazing Location and Very Nice Accomodations
We could not have found a better location for our stay! We were attending a conference at the Grove Park Inn and it was only a 10-minute drive from 47 Short. Once we were "home" from the conference, we could walk to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops downtown. Montford is a very cool city neighborhood, the apartment is beautiful, and Peter and Frank are very gracious hosts!

Easy half mile walk to the center of town. One block from Asheville Visitors Center (tour buses and city buses). A pleasant six and a half mile drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitors Center. Five mile drive to Biltmore Village & Estate. Less than a half mile to Grove Arcade and the convention center. Easy walking distance to dozens of restaurants, shops, and microbreweries. One mile from the River Arts District. If you don't feel like walking, Uber taxis are always available and quick in our neighborhood.
