About Familie Kramer

We are a family of artists, who rebuilt, after a long slumber, with much commitment the mill facility and restored.

The mill from the 18th century has become our family home.

We spend almost 25 years since the summer months in the Sarthe and love unspoiled nature, canoeing on the Végre, the particular place, away from the hustle and bustle.

We appreciate our guests and want to share with you in this peaceful, particular piece of land.

Familie Kramer purchased this chateau / country house in 1990

Why Familie Kramer chose Sarthe

The mill complex is centrally located for culture and nature, rich in lakes the 'Sarthe' has enchanted us equal.

The Mill on the river, followed by conservation area, the old France and the buildings, with so much charm.

The guest house, formerly a mill, made of thick rubble stone, we have rebuilt and now one house with two guest apartments.

Both apartments are furnished by us with the attention to detail.

The former home of the miller, the 'MÜLLERhaus with an additional small garden and several small rooms, in typical French style has just been restored.

It has 2 double bedrooms on the first floor and 2 double rooms and one single room on the 2nd floor, a small toilet on the floor

A living room with fireplace, a kitchen and a bathroom in on the garden level,

so that one passes directly from the living room or the kitchen to the garden.

In the garden is a small permanently installed fireplace and seating and loungers.

What makes this chateau / country house unique

The mill plant located in a large meadow land, has 2 independent guesthouses.

One guest house has two separate apartments with separate entrances.

This has the advantage that even 2 families can spend their holidays together, and yet your privacy is assured.

You can sit together at the large dining table the studio apartment and the delights to be bought in one of the many French shops, with a good glass of wine, enjoy together, bbq, table tennis, 'splash' in the pool, throw the boules ..

The miller's house with its 5 bedrooms is ideal for a large family, often we have a team of 24 St.von Le Mans race as a guest.

Internet and German television, as well as how some bikes and kayaks are available for free.

Right next to the mill facility and the nature reserve lies Angel courts, where our guests and friends do not have to wait long to fish pike, tench, perch from the river.

Wonderful is the quiet ride on the river, unspoiled nature towards the village.

The village has a canoe landing and if you like to buy the fresh baguette and paddle back home.

Longer trips on the very rich VEGRE mills or on the Sarthe are always an experience.

Smaller castles in the vicinity, and of course the great Loire castles are worth a visit.

Many of our guests make a day trip to the seaside, going to San Malo and the TGV's quick to Paris ...

There is much to experience and see.

The music festival in Sablé, the race in Le Mans, the old towns.

Studio apartment The ground floor apartment is divided into 2 bedrooms, a large living 50qm² kitchen and a bathroom. The large master bedroom sleeps 3. has an additional small outdoor patio, surrounded by a hedge and a 2nd entrance. The large kitchen has everything you need to cooking utensils for his stay: dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, Senseo, plenty of pots, crockery and cutlery ... In the living area there are: a big long table in the middle of the room, a separate sitting area with sofa, armchairs and TV, board games and literature for all ages, a fireplace for the cooler season and firewood in the garden. The atmosphere of the apartment is characterized by its owner, a visual artist. Pictures and objects of artist friends hanging on the walls and give the room the atmosphere of a studio .. Country Apartment The first floor apartment has two bedrooms with 3 or 2 beds, a large kitchen and bathroom with tub and shower. The left visible natural stones give the home a rustic impression, supported by antique brass beds and wardrobes. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Stove and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, Senseo, plenty of pots, crockery and cutlery ... In the living room sofa, armchairs, radio and television. Board games and literature for all ages. A fireplace for the cooler season with firewood in the garden. A balcony (20 sq ') with sitting and dining area and a wonderful view of meadows and fields. BBQ and deck chairs on the balcony. The pool and table tennis on the lawn area, is just a few steps.

A perfect stay

Nothing could be more stylish and yet charming than this old mill. It is perfectly and quietly located within biking distance to the next village where you will find all useful amenities. The garden is a joy with its small swimmingpool and table tennis and place to lie down and dream. Our three girls were totally happy and so we were. Take some books with you, plan a couple of day trips, i.e. Le Mans, Angers, and you'll have the perfect vacation. House is huge and very comfortable, not to speak of the interior decoration: a dream!

Was soll ich sagen, wenn jemand seine Flitterwochen in einer untouristischen aber um so bezaubernderen Gegend wie der Sarthe, verbringen mag,

dann noch so begeistert ist wie wir, was will man mehr.

Entzückend, die Landwohnung, alles so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben.

Es war alles da, was wir brauchten, und die Sonne lachte,

wir haben uns auf das nähere Umland, mit den vielen kleinen Attraktionen beschränkt.

Für den Pool war es noch zu kalt, dafür haben wir Basketball und Tischtennis gespielt, die Fahrräder genutzt und trotz der Jahreszeit uns nicht nehmen lassen mit dem Kanu, ins Dorf zu fahren.

Wir danken, der Familie für die vielen Anregungen und Tipps, wir werden wieder kommen.

Wir haben die Zeit genossen

Die Familie Kramer hat uns sehr herzlich Empfangen.

Es standen frische Blumen auf dem Tisch und eine köstliche Flasche Wein

Die Wohnung war sauber, freundlich und großzügig dimensioniert.

Ein schöner Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne ist sehr ruhig.

Wohnküche und gemütliches Wohnzimmer.

Die Kinder haben den Pool genossen, die Tischtennisplatte war unser beliebtestes Spielgerät.

Wir können die Wohnung und die Vermieter nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

The property, consisting of the miller's house and its two mills on the river bank of the Végre on a 1.4 acre garden and lawn area, right at the nature reserve "Marais de Barigné".

The 200 year old stone barn, the first guest house has two generously expanded Apartments à each with a private entrance 100sqm.

The 'Miller's house', a typical French house is from the 19th century with fireplace and 5 bedrooms.

The 4000 square meters' large garden with swimming pool is reserved only for the visitors of the guest houses.

In five minutes you can take the bike to the nearby village who would like to take a little more time to take our canoe and paddle along the VEGRE into the village to buy.

Anglers need not only the tall tales, here perch, tench and pike are fished out of the water.

Loué is located in the department of Sarthe, one of the most interesting areas of western France. Its central, convenient traffic location allows day trips to the sea and lakes, monasteries and castles of the Loire. An ideal holiday destination for families, nature lovers and anglers.

Famous the area has become because of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans has a historic center, which is often used as a backdrop for historical films, is as interesting for art and history lovers as the many small castles in the vicinity of the villages dominate the landscape.

On the property there is a swimming pool, on the meadow Engeländer there are sufficient facilities for table tennis, badminton, football, bowling ... to play
