Very secluded getaway

  • 5 of 5

We loved our time at "The Blackberry". This was the most secluded spot we've ever stayed. The view is indeed beautiful. The cabin is comfortable - very homelike. The drive is steep but the biggest challenge to us was the drive in along the hairpin turn road that led to the drive! We even got to see snow while we were there. We were a little nervous driving out, but the snow plow and salt truck had treated the road. We hope to return for some peace and quiet again soon!

RELAXED, RECHARGED AND HOPE TO RETURN

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I needed this short time away. So close to our home and was perfect for us. Husband loves wood work and was very impressed with the cabin but the view is what blew us both away. Hard for us to get away that often due to family owned business and recovery from cancer, but this was perfect! We are grateful!

Secluded beauty

  • 4 of 5

Very private with stunning views. Loved it. Driveway is a bit steep. The first 100 ft or so past the asphalt needs to be packed down. Very loose and takes some speed to get past the loose gravel. If you don't have a 4 wheel drive and you stop on that portion you won't make it up. The rest of the way is fine. Bring extra wash clothes. Plenty of towels provided. Saw wild turkeys every day in the driveway. We'd go back

Perfect, secluded getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing long weekend at this cabin. Seeing the views for the first time was breathtaking, and waking up to that sunrise each morning was truly special. The only sounds you'll hear up hear if the rushing river, wind in the trees, and occasional echoing "woo hoo" from the zip lining nearby.

The cabin itself was clean, furnished quite comfortably and you couldn't tell that folks have had dogs there before (the ultimate compliment).

We used the oven for baking, but cooked hot dogs and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit which was a great addition to the property.

You'll probably not want to drive back and forth into town all that often, as the road is reeeaaaalllly winding. But honestly, why would you want to leave the cabin in the first place? :)

Cant wait to return!

Fantastic hideaway in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

This little cabin tucked away on 25 acres is the perfect place to hide away from the world. Once you turn into the drive away, you are transported to your own little world.

The cabin was perfect. The view was beautiful.

We loved it.

Super Clean Seclusion!!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely LOVED the location and privacy!! The cabin was super clean and we found everything we needed. We also found the waterfalls near by that we came to check out. We'll be back here asap and have already refered this "Haven" to our friends and family. The owner is prompt and imformational which is always a plus. We vacation in the mountains a lot, this will be at the top of the list!!
