Renovated And Updated Beach Home With Spectacular Ocean And Lighthouse Views
As longtime Boston residents, Scott and I purchased this home in Cape Elizabeth to use for our family of four as a nearby getaway, and to share with others as a vacation home. We have renovated and put our finishing touches on it, and we are happy to share our home with responsible, conscientious individuals and families. I am originally from "the County," Aroostook County in northern Maine, and have always wanted to be able to spend time in Maine away from the hustle and bustle of our Boston lives. My Vermont-born husband lived two doors down for a couple of years after college, and has been in love with the unique neighborhood ever since. -Whitney & Scott

Why Whitney chose Cape Elizabeth
You'll love waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. One of my favorite things is waking up to the colors of the sunrise over the ocean from the master bedroom window in the morning. The yard is large enough for children to play, and you'll love the ocean views from the fire pit in the backyard. Sights and sounds of the ocean surround our special property.
What makes this House unique
Soon after we purchased this home, we discovered that our house had been painted in an Edward Hopper painting many years ago. A print of "Lighthouse Hill" hangs in our living room.

Family wedding weekend
My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. It has a picture perfect location near the end of Two Lights Road with scenic views of the ocean from the house, beach, and rock path areas. The kitchen was well stocked and updated, the living area was very comfortable and allowed for great family time. Beds were comfortable and easily accommodated our party of six. Whitney, the owner was very accommodating and promptly responded to my email. Truly a great VRBO experience. Thank you Whitney!
Excellent home and supreme location!
We stayed here for a week with our four kids. There was plenty of space for all of us. The toys and puzzles kept the kids busy when we weren’t outside. The location is simply stunning- right on the ocean. Waking up and smelling the ocean was wonderful. We live in Houston, but I am originally from Maine and we enjoy coming back to Maine to get away from the intense heat and humidity of Houston. The weather was amazing as well. The cool ocean breeze meant we could keep windows open. The location is right across the street from the Lobster Shack restaurant. The street can be busy but we never had any issues with the traffic. Additionally, it’s close to Crescent Beach, Kettle Cove, Portland, and Ft. Williams (Portland Head Light), while being right next door to Two Lights State Park. Grocery and restaurants are also close. The three bedrooms were amply sized and gave us all plenty of space. The house features a dining room and a large kitchen as well as family room. The backyard is large and very pretty and the kids played frisbee and tag out there all the time. We would definitely stay here again because the owners are wonderful, the house is beautiful, and the location can’t be beat. Our last night there, we went to the rocks at the end of the street and watched the waves as the tide came in. Very relaxing and the views are spectacular- Maine truly is a beautiful state.
Great Family Getaway
Our time in Cape Elizabeth was far too short. We’ve stayed at a lot of places with Vbro and their competition, and this is by far the most well appointed home we’ve stayed in. There was nothing forgotten. Everything we needed was there but edible groceries. There were even lots of toys and books for our young children. The things that matter to me were solid. There’s comfortable beds and linens and great water pressure. The house could be a little stuffy upstairs on the really hot days, but you’d be hard pressed to find a place in New England that’s not. The neighborhood is directly by the sea. The town itself is charming and there is something for everyone. The only drawbacks were that the neighborhood beach isn’t for swimming but theres plenty of adventure to be had exploring the nearby shoreline rock formations. And the “swimming” beaches were only a close drive away. The neighborhood isn’t drivable except for the nearby restaurant lobster shack. Relaxing a true home away!
We would stay again
The property is darling, very clean and a great location for exploring Portland and the southern Maine Coast. Whitney was very responsive, kind and welcoming. We had a great family vacation!
Location, location, location
What a fabulous property! The home is very clean and well equipped with anything you would possibly need for a trip to the coast. The beach, less than a block away, is perfect for watching the sunrise, and taking in nature. We visited many of the beaches in the area and they were all beautiful.
Thank you so much, Deborah, for your kind words! It was a pleasure to host you and your family for your trip to Maine. Thank you also for taking such great care of our home... It was immaculate when you left!
