About Stacey Van Dyk
I have lived in Kangaroo Point for 30 years and travelled the world extensively, but always love coming home to Brisbane.
Stacey Van Dyk purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Stacey Van Dyk chose Kangaroo Point
I fell in love and purchased my little cottage 10 years ago, and I want travellers from around the world to experience the charm of a stay in a traditional Brisbane workers cottage, located in a character housing precinct in one of Brisbane's oldest suburbs. This charming cottage is located just minutes from the city and close to Brisbane's popular tourist attractions.
What makes this Cottage unique
Sitting on the front verandah, sipping a coffee, it is hard to believe that this peaceful location is right in the heart of Brisbane.

Charming and central
A charming little cottage surrounded by big beautiful trees with everything you could possibly need, so close to Riverlife, ferry terminal and lovely little cafes. Stacey made us feel so welcome!
Home away from home
The purpose of our stay was 'rest and relax' following surgery. Coming from out of town and needing accommodation nearby to the medical facility, we wanted peace, quiet, and privacy in a home-style setting. Well the cottage offered that and more! It is clean and well appointed with comfy seating, a great bed, and a cozy fireplace. As we were stopping in the whole time, we brought a portable camping cook-top with us for use outdoors. Next time however, we plan to take advantage of the great location to access the many restaurants, bars, and cafes in the area. Stacey was a wonderful host and made sure that we had everything we needed, as well as being very respectful of our privacy. Her cottage is becoming a popular options, so be sure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment! Enjoy :)
This little gem is so special and Stacey is such a great hostess. The place is clean, bright and beautifully appointed. Looking forward to our next visit to this cute inner city place
It was like a home away from home
