Welcome to The River House Bed and Breakfast – an historic Queen Anne built in 1890. The River House sits high on a bluff overlooking where the Illinois and Fox Rivers cross paths and has beautiful views of both rivers and the town of Ottawa.
The location is walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants in the beautiful, quaint town of Ottawa Illinois. We are a quick, scenic drive to four state parks - Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock, Matthiassen and Illini. We are short driving distances from wine tasting in Utica, golf courses, sky diving, canoe rentals, boat and water ski rentals, river rafting on the Vermillion River and many other fun activities.
The River House booking options include any of four individual rooms or the entire home.
