Very Nice !
Comfortable property, well located, clear communication with the owner. I highly recommend this apartment.
Snowy stay in Portland
What a charming spot! We enjoyed our stay in this cozy slightly quirky older home. The location is excellent and even with the unexpected snow storm we were able to walk everywhere easily. There are a ton of great bars and restaurants within a mile or less. The fireplace in the kitchen is so cozy and there is everything you need to cook a meal. I wish the owner would put another cozy chair or small couch in the kitchen as it's the only room with a fireplace - and we basically never used the other living spaces for that reason. Also, not a negative, but the stairs to the upstairs room are STEEP and a bit slippery. Not an issue for us, just something to keep in mind. David communicated with us very quickly and everything from booking to check out was a breeze.
This beautiful townhome is in a great location. Even in the cold Maine winter we were able to walk to all of our favorite restaurants. Coming from Florida, we were concerned about keeping warm but the gas fire and heat kept us plenty warm. The kitchen is well stocked, including a French press and a keurig for your morning coffee. Beds were very comfortable too. We had a great stay!
Fantastic stay in Portland
I spent a cold, snowy weekend here with my elderly mother. It was a delight to come in the first night and be welcomed by a gas fire in a converted wood stove warming the kitchen. The warm welcome extends to the rest of the property and the host. Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen - all in an excellent Arts District location. I second the other comments about David's responsiveness and flexibility.
Great great away
The unit was spotless clean and very comfortable....
Would highly recommend
This was such a great place to stay. The decor and cleanliness along with a few extra amenities in the kitchen made us feel welcomed and valued upon entering the home. David was so helpful and quick to respond when we had questions and requests prior to our arrival - we appreciated the flexibility. It was also a plus to have the personalized instructions for using the keylocks, the audio/video systems, and lighting fixtures in the house. All of us had a wonderful experience.
