Holiday Villa Casa San Marco

Location in the bay of San Marco below Icod de los Vinos only

a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, mini supermarket and bus stop.

An ideal place as a starting point for beach holidays, hiking and sightseeing all kinds. The bay is also suitable for swimming for children and is situated in a sheltered location. The temperatures there are a few degrees higher than in the mountains.

The house has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a large kitchen, a guest toilet, a large comfortable living room, a terrace around the house and a roof terrace, garden furniture and sun loungers. The equipment of the house is more than complete. In the kitchen you will find from dishwashers to coffee machine, everything that a modern budget can provide to electrical appliances. In addition, 2 times SAT-TV, stereo and DVD player, books, computer accessories such as printer, monitor, washing machine and desired of course WiFi Internet.

A house to enjoy the holiday in Tenerife.

A very pleasant stay

We are a couple and we stayed in the property for a week in June. Before our arrival the managers were very prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. They were also very flexible on our arrival arrangements and even thoughtfully got us a few supplies from the supermarket as we were late to arrive.

The property was immaculately clean and tidy with a fully equipped kitchen for even the largest of families, a great view from the balcony of the beach, plenty of linen and towels, a good sized TV (although we didn't use it) and two bathrooms.

There is a large supermaket less than 5 minutes drive away in Icod de los Vinos and the lovely black sand beach less than 2 minutes walk away. Puerto de la Cruz is about half an hour's drive away for the Loro Parque, etc.

The neighbourhood is quiet and tidy, with plenty of parking nearby, although it does get busy on the weekends when the locals come to visit the beach.

There are several local restaurants, which were friendly and very reasonably priced.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone considering the area. Note that we hired a car and this is somewhat of a necessity due to the infrequent buses.

Simple living *****

My family stayed here for a week in September in 2013. Let me tell you:

1. Dietmar & Corina Meyfeldt are wonderful and very helpful owners

2. The apartment is perfectly basic

3. Spot is outstanding (if you have a car)

Schöner als Zuhaus

Die Dachterasse hat uns nicht mehr losgelassen, dadurch haben wir von der schönen Umgebung weniger als geplant gesehen. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen und auch sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ferien im Casa San Marco

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Casa San Marco.

Das Haus liegt wie beschrieben oberhalb des Strandes von San Maros mit einem herrlich weiten Blick über die Bucht bis zum Lavafelsen von Garachico. Die Einrichtung ist wie auf den Bildern gezeigt einwandfrei und lässt an nichts zu wünschen übrig. Ein kleiner Einkaufsladen ist in ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Anfahrt zum Haus vom Flughafen wurde vom Vermieter mit Unterlagen bestens dokumentiert. Neben der Einweisung hat er uns wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben und war zu jeder Zeit telefonisch ansprechbar.

Auf der unteren Terrasse kann man gut mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer frühstücken und die Dachterrasse lädt zum ungestörten Sonnenbaden ein.

Ein öffentlicher Bus fährt am Tag jede Stunde von San Marcos nach ICod De Los Vinos (Drachenbaum) und von dort in alle Richtungen.

Wir haben die Zeit genossen und fühlten uns fast wie zu Hause.

Maison de rêve
