Why Lane's End Hobby Farm chose Washington
Our hobby farm is secluded, yet close to our charming village and a hop, skip and jump from the city by new highway. If you picture an 1870's old Kentucky setting you have it right.. Best VRBO Stay Ever
I was blown away by the beauty of this property, the coziness of the tiny house, and the hospitality of the owners. I have stayed in many rentals through vrbo, but never one that I enjoyed enough to write a review about. I simply can't express how pleased I was all the way around with my stay here. Thank you so much! I can't wait to visit again!
Thank you for staying at Lane’s End! We so enjoy our wonderful and considerate guests. Blessings to you.
Weekend full of wonder at the Tiny House!
From the moment we arrived at Sal and Buzz's place, we felt so warmly welcomed and fell absolutely in love with the house, the owners, the animals and the entire property. We spent just two days there, but our hearts will be full for years to come. Sal and Buzz were extremely helpful and communicative, so hospitable and sweet. I would also eat my weight in Sal's homemade cookies. The space was just perfect for the two of us, two friends who met in the middle of our respective cities to just commune with some nature. We picnicked in the pasture with the cows, spent time with the horses (real characters, those ponies!) and wandered through the winding creeks before retiring to a fire under the stars in the evening or out to dinner in neighboring Peoria. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much, Sal and Buzz, we can't wait to come back!
Oh please do come again! We love our guests and you two were the sweetest!🌞
quaint cottage. comfy. great setting
nice get away. nice friendly owners
Great Tiny House!
This tiny house was perfect for a weekend getaway!
We had a fantastic weekend! We were greeted by the owners the first afternoon and enjoyed hearing of the history of the property. As soon as we entered the tiny house, I was in love with it! The owners have done a fantastic job decorating, keeping the Midwestern farm charm and while still having modern amenities - like Wifi! I loved that the horses were directly adjacent to the tiny house, I enjoyed watching them with morning coffee. I do admit that I felt a little bad for the mini horses and cows at night - I worried about them being outdoors. LOL! We walked the grounds and the calf was so cute!
We also went downtown Washington which was absolutely adorable! The antique store had some really great pieces at really great prices. And the Karmelcorn store was delicious. East Peoria was just about 15 minutes away, making this the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, while still being close enough to dining and entertainment. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for allowing us to visit!
We so enjoyed having y'all! Do come back again! We enjoy our guests! (as do our spoiled ponies :)!
