Memorable stay in Aix
We spent a wonderful week in April at this lovely apartment, conveniently located in the centre of town. This really is a gem in a busy town like Aix - modern, clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The owners have made great effort to make this a very welcoming and attractive place to call home for a week. We enjoyed visiting so many wonderful places in Aix and the Provence and being able to park the rental car in the underground parking was definitely a huge bonus for us. Groceries are easy to buy and the markets are a great place to buy the local specialities. Our favourite restaurant was Pasta Cosi on the rue Entrecasteaux followed by gelato at Giovanni Gelateria on the cours Mirabeau, delicious!. We hope to return soon.

A great stay in Aix
My son and I stayed in the Jardin de Maryland for two months (January and February). Maryline's daughter, Tamlyn, greeted us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. She works at a local soap shop, and we enjoyed the wonderful soap that was left on each of our towels (there is no shortage of towels - with extras if needed). The beds were very comfortable - a definite bonus. We had older friends stay with us for a few nights, and they commented on how comfortable the beds were. There are plenty of windows to let in the natural light. The heat worked well, and was needed for when the Mistral was blowing. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need - spices, tea and Nespresso pods were there when we arrived. There were garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, dish soap, hand soap and laundry detergent (this is definitely not the norm in terms of rentals). The dryer was nice to have. Although, Provence is dry in the winter, and clothes dried quickly on the clothes rack. We will need to return in a warmer season to enjoy the deck - the sun shines on it in the morning, and it would be perfect to start the day. We weren't going to use the parking spot for our car due to other reviews, but we had no problem parking our Peugeot 3008 in the parking garage. It certainly made it easier to travel outside of Aix with the car in the same building. If you do decide to park a larger car, just remember that the side mirrors are key to getting up and down the garage ramps. Probably the nicest surprise for us was the cleaning woman who came once a week. She did a very good job, and was a pleasure to see each week. All of the extras made our stay in Aix very comfortable. We wholeheartedly recommend this rental if you plan on staying in Aix. The apartment is next to shopping, the old town and the markets - you couldn't ask for a better location. Merci Maryline, Roland and Tamlyn pour tous que vous avez faites pour nous. C'était un vrai plaisir!

Beautiful apartment in great location
Loved this place. It was spotless, well located and had everything we needed.
A perfect apartment
I will keep this short in view of the other rave reviews this apartment has received. We've been renting apartments in France for twenty years, and this is perhaps the best equipped, best located, and most comfortable one we've been in. It is immaculate, very spacious (including the terrace), and just a pleasure in every way. I hope to return to Aix, a place I love and visit regularly, and will certainly try to rent this apartment again.
We stayed for 1 week as my husband was taking part in Ironman 70.3. The apartment was perfectly located and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was a furnished to a very high standard. We paid for the garage which was a necessity and made parking easy. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations! They were absolutely lovely and so very comfortable! We can highly recommend staying! We were attending the music festival which was directly across the street and it couldn't have been a better location. It was also so central to everything! The apartment was so gorgeous and each day, upon our return from our touring Provence, we welcomed the peace and quiet of this beautiful oasis. It was very luxurious, modern and clean. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom and the electronic shades were top of the line, and blackened out the light when needed. The building was highly secured, and located within walking distance to shops and restaurants (Le Darius was quite good), and Monoprix around the corner for food items. One caution though...if you rent a car, make sure it's very small! The garage below is narrow. Again, Maryline...Merci beaucoup for a beautiful 10 day stay. Warmest regards, Diane & Jeff
