Great find in Helena
The Bohmenian Bungalow was very comfortable, quiet and well located for exploring all Helena has to offer. It was much more spacious on the inside than you would ever think from the street view. We enjoyed coffee on the patio every morning, the back yard is shady and wildly lovely! Even though the weather was blisteringly hot over Labor Day weekend, if we opened all the windows early in the am and closed the house up before leaving, even without central air, it stayed nicely cool. Thank you to our hostess for adding this option to lodging in Helena, so much better than a hotel!
Helena Hockey stay
The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The front and back porches are perfect for reading. It is located on a quiet street and yet within 0.3 mile you are in historic downtown. 2.8 miles the other way is the hockey rink. The neighborhood is a runner's paradise.
Great house. Super location.
This was our first stay on our Montana mtn bike trip, and it was amazing. Great neighborhood, within walking distance to Last Chance Gulch shopping area, bike shops, restaurants and brewery’s. In town to mtn bike? Head south on Davis from the house to Mt Ascension Park or drive up. Bike or drive to Mt Helena park and explore that area or look into the free town shuttle. Plenty of parking in all areas. Into exploring? Head to Butte for the music festival in July, it’s just over the hill. Helena was truly a great experience and Kristine is great. The home has a nice little lockable shed for securing the bikes, beautiful back yard, shade trees and large porch with bbq. Truly a cozy, beautiful home. We will certainly be back!
