Just 30 meters away from the lake our little house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. It was renovated in 2010 and completely rearranged. There is space for 4-5 people. (1 kitchen/dinig-and livingroom, 1 small living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bed in the kitchen/living-room) and an own small garden area. From the kitchen and the bedroom above it you will have a nice view to the lake. From the other bedroom you see the moutain paeks of Trisselwand and Loser. The house is furnished in the simple but tasteful way, the summer visitors from Vienna used to decorate their holiday homes since many geneartions. Garden furniture and deck chairs are available. There is space to park a car. You will get to the nearest places for swimming in the lake in just a few minutes. The scenic walk around the lake begins just in front of the house. To the center of the villlage it is a 5-7 minutes walk.
After getting up, jump in the lake: There is hardly anything more beautiful than jumping into the 'Altaussseersee' in the morning of a beautiful summer day, when a slight haze is over the lake which feflects the pink shimmer of the snow fields of the Dachstein in the background.
The Seewiese: The road around the lake:

The increasing rich Salzkammergut is one of the most authentic Austrian holiday destinations. It offers a unique combination of nature and culture: a pristine mountains, alpine meadows, lakes, rivers, an amazing variety of flowers - and a unique cultural landscape that is shaped by centuries of salt mining. The customs are still maintained naturally. The people wear their clothes because they love them, and not as a tourist attraction. Far beyond the borders of Austria known are the Ausseer carnival, beer tent in September, Krampus and Glöckelbräuche. A variety of managed refuges allow mountain or mountain biking tours deep into a stunning, pristine landscape. At the largely public. accessible beaches of the leaves and the Altausseersee Grundlsee it then complete rest from the rigors of hiking. It is a beautiful golf course and three nearby ski areas: Loser, Tauplitz and roof stone.
Ski: The Skgebiet Loser can be reached by car in 5 minutes. To Tauplitzalm it takes about 20 minutes and the roof stone is about 1 / 2 hour. The ski areas are very suitable for families, there are good ski schools and a recommended restaurant in the huts (for example, on the Kasnocken Loser hut). The ski areas are not huge, but when combined they offer enough variety for a whole week. And if you have enough of skiing, there are all beautiful cross country trails - is that none of the toll-free in the pasture or to Blaa of Kainisch Ödensee. The Dead Mountains are also recommended for hikers very: very nice, the tour of the Tauplitzalm on the large Tragl or those on the toll-free from Sandling. Absolutely unbelievable but it is when it is on the Altausse and the Grundlsee fried egg (usually in January under February) - something you can not describe - you have to experience it yourself.
