Le Beausite is our stylish 3 bed apartment in central Chamonix with pool and views of Mont Blanc. One third of our guests come and stay again - both in winter and summer.

Perfect for skiing or summer, our apartment is 5 minutes from the ski lift and has a private residents pool (open mid-June to mid-September) and south facing terrace overlooking Mont Blanc for sunny days!

The apartment sleeps 6-8, with 8 adults being the optimum (most comfortable!) use of space.

We have 3 double bedrooms (all with joinable twin beds) a large open plan kitchen and lounge nearly 9m long, small bunk room with two bunk beds, and a bathroom and wetroom. We are on the second floor and there is a lift.

There is ski hire shop and supermarket just below the apartments and plenty of transfer companies which run shared taxis from Geneva airport.

We are located moments from the best patisserie in the village for those delicious breakfast morning runs, and right next to some of the best fondue houses and restaurants for the evenings. The cinema and bowling alley are also very close.

There is a 42' plasma screen for lazy days, WI-FI internet access, dishwasher and washer dryer, and ski locker.

Great apartment in a fantastic location. Represents excellent value for money as you get more space and better quality accommodation than from a hotel twice the price. Location cannot be faulted - close to shops and restaurants but also within walking distance of the Brevant cable car. Ian was also able to provide us with some valuable pointers and tips which was vital for inexperienced skiers such as ourselves. We'd all definitely stay there again”

Our changeover day is usually Saturday, especially in high season. Check in is 5pm and check out is 10am. Linen is optional and is £16.50 per person (including bath towels, tea towels, hand towels, and bath mats). The private residents pool is open mid-June to mid-September. Please note: Rates are quoted in pounds sterling and payments are made by bank transfer. Payment terms: A booking deposit of 40% of rental fee is payable on reservation. The balance is payable 12 weeks in advance or immediately if sooner. Damages (except fair wear and tear) will be taken from a £400 refundable security deposit.

Incredible location - great property

This apartment is perfectly located on a main street with many shops, equidistant to two ski lifts. The layout of the rooms are designed so that the main area is very accommodating in addition to sleeping 8 persons comfortably. There is a lift inside the building which we found very handy and the terrace was a pleasure pending sunny weather. We highly recommend this property.

The apartment was very nice. We weren't quite expecting a large apartment block, but once inside, it was cosy and warm, with everything we could wish for. The proximity to town was also great, without being noisy at night. Lots of skiiing options within 10 mins or so drive or ski bus. For the kids, Argentiere and La Tour were ideal, which is where we spent most of our time. Summer must be fabulous with the pool. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Excellent apartment is a great location for Chamonix.

Apartment is well furnished and very comfortable for up to 6 adults. It's located near the town centre and close to the Chamonix Central bus stop.

It's the best self-catering accommodation we have stayed in during our travels skiing in France over the past 10-15 years. Bunks are small though if you were planning to use them and would only be suitable for small children. With 3 good sized bedrooms we didn't need to use them though.

Views from the balcony over the Mont Blanc massif are fantastic and I imagine this is great place to stay in summer as well as winter. We'll definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our summer stay

We just spent a week in the apartment in mid July 2017, and were very pleased. The apartment block is superbly located towards one end of the main shopping street, so right in all the action, with a small supermarket almost opposite, and lots of restaurants for the evening right on the doorstep. The view from the balcony is just stunning too.

Everything was clean and in good order when we arrived, and the appliances are modern and all worked well, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and worked very well.

Communication with the owner was excellent all the way along.

The swimming pool was a really nice temperature, never too busy, and actually a really pleasant pool to swim in. My one gripe would be that there's no beds, and just a few chairs, if there were beds (or more wooden decking) around the large area around the pool it would be perfect. Settle by the wooden decking around the edge of the pool though for the best option. When coming back down the lifts we noticed very few swimming pools in Chamonix that I could see anyhow, and you can spot this pool from a long way up the lift - so it's perhaps a rare gem!

There's a car park for the block, although we found it tough to get a space, but then we did arrive the day after Bastille Day so I'd guess that's probably one of the busiest summer weekends possible in Chamonix. On the plus side the town was buzzing, and I got up early one morning to nab a free parking space in the road behind the block.

Overall we were very happy with our stay - there's lots to do in Chamonix, and this apartment is a great base to explore it from.

Our apartment is in the centre of Chamonix village, just a 5 minute walk to the main lift of Brevant. This gives you access to the Brevant -Flegere ski areas (combined these form the largest ski area in the Chamonix valley). There are a further 3 large ski areas each of which can be reached by the free ski bus in less than 10 minutes (Les Houches, Grand Montets/Argentiere, Le Tour).

Geneva is a 50 minute, easy drive away from here.
